Great location

Pros: The location was the best.
Cons: Parking rates are excessively billed.
Location: Lots of great things to do nearby. We walked towards the John Hancock tower and found a great Escape Room experience.
The hotel was in a great location and the room was very nice. I prefer queen size beds, but the two doubles worked well for me and my kids. Although I read that the parking was expensive, it still shocked me greatly to get a valet charge of $68 USD / night when my room was only $90 USD / night. I complained and they did redirect me to a site that helps you find better parking ($35), but I'd already blown $68 on the first night.

Good location for a fair price

Stayed here for our first couple's night out in a long time. It is a close walk to AMC, Grand Lux, Dylan's, and there's a Starbucks in the lobby. When we first checked in- we were placed on the 12th floor - next door to a guest with kids. The walls are thin and we can hear their full conversation prior to our dinner reservations. It was random noises from that room during the night and my ultimate complaint about my stay is the 7 am unwanted alarm from my neighbors who decided that being loud that early in the morning is acceptable. Next time, I would prefer a room that is away from such noise. This was supposed to be relaxing time away from everyday life- but the noise in the morning took away from the experience.

Fantastic location right on Mag. mile!

My friends and I ended up here last minute, we had booked a different hotel that ended up being terrible, and decided we needed something we know would be nice and the Intercontinental came through. Very clean, kind staff and a Starbucks in the lobby. Just be aware there are multiple towers, so be aware of which elevators you go to.

Great location ! All the great stores are walking distance. You can walk to Millenium Park.

Lobby was absolutely beautiful at Christmas time!

Pros: Everything was beautiful!
Cons: Not much. I was very happy.
Location: Lots to do nearby. Movies, shopping and restaurants right out the door.
Lobby was decorated beautifully for Christmas. Rooms were very nice. Updated and clean! Pool area is amazing! Just watch that you do not move any of the items available for in room purchase. We lifted the can of Pringles up and moved a Redbull in the refrigerator to make room for a container of leftovers and we were charged for these extremely overpriced items because they are all on sensors. The front desk removed the charges for me, no problem but had I not paid attention to my bill, I would have been charged for things I did not eat/drink. Location was great! Right by shopping/restaurants and the movie theatre.

Hotel in a great location

Location: There are many restaurants and shopping close by.
We very much enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We would stay here again. It was very close to many restaurants and bus and subway. On one our nights we were awoken at 3:30 a.m. by music in the room next door. We called down to the front desk and said they would send security. Security came immediately and took care of the problem.
