Staff was pretentious and rude. The manager was kind and cooperative, but the rest of the staff needs training. Food was ridiculously overpriced. There was construction next store, which we were not made aware of, and it ruined the stay. This experience did not match up to what was posted online.

Long weekend in Chicago

Pros: The space, decor and quiet.
Cons: Bedding was very nice but could use a separate top sheet and blanket.
Location: The location was 1.5 block off Michigan Ave so lots to see and do. Yet the location was fairly quiet.
We had a great stay at the Ivy. My wife loved the room and the decor. We received an upgrade to a king and never asked for it. Room was spacious and very modern decor. Bath was excellent with dual sinks, very large soaking tub. large shower and even a TV built into the mirror above the sinks. The bed was comfortable but only a duvet for covers. This was too warm for me and would have appreciated a regular sheet and blanket. More hotels seem to be doing this. Very quiet and no outside noise either. View was not the greatest but this was a standard room.

Nice hotel wish rooms were bigger

OVERALL IT WAS A GOOD PLACE THE PICTURES MADE THE ROOMS LOOK BIGGER THEN WHAT THEY WERE . BUT IT WAS STILL NICE HOTEL

Wonderful door staff, clean and comfortable rooms! It is so close to Michigan Ave! Highly recommend the room with the bathtub-- that and the waterfall shower were the best part!

Very nice room

The room was excellent and very spacious. We stayed in the king suite. My only issue is the knob for the hot tub was not working but we were in a rush so could not let the staff know until the morning. Other than that I would definitely stay there again.

Location, location, location

We stayed at the Ivy Boutique Hotel from 2/3 to 2/5. The room was lovely, we went for a king suite which was perfect for my husband and I. We were close to everything, from Garrett's to Portillo's to the Mag Mile. The staff was lovely and always super helpful.

Went for the nigt for my biyfriends Birthday. They sent up complimentary chocolates and chocolate covered strawberrys after I mentioned his birthday at check -in. Nice touch!

Pros: I loved the style and furniture. If the bed and customer service was better I would have enjoyed my stay.
Cons: Customer Service. Clean sheets!!
Upon arrival I had to wait a long time to check in with it being (2) attendants standing there. After check in I asked that my sheet be changed because there was stains on the comforter as well as the mattress cover. And no, no one came to change it I just used the semi clean sheets to sleep on. My husband arrived after me and had to wait as well to be let up to our room, meanwhile I'm on the phone calling the front desk to let my husband up and whoever was answering the phone put me stright on hold. There was no hold a minute just right to the instant hold. Customer service was not what I paid for apprently.
