Decent locationPosted Nov 1, 2015
It was a over all decent stay. The room was clean. The only complaint was the room was freezing when entered. And had ordered 2 rooms they were located 6 floors apart.

Pros: Friendly stuff.
Location: Great location close to everything!
Loved my experience at this hotel. I arrived at noon and check in was at 3pm, but they still let me check in at noon. Thank you!

A Few days in Downtown Chi TownPosted Oct 28, 2015
Pros: Location. Merely steps away from Magnificent Mile and 15 minute walk to Navy Pier
Cons: Add a hot tub/spa
Location: Navy Pier is 15 minute walk away. Boardwalk along the lake is also just steps away and Magnificent Mile is a block away from the front door.
Although very well situated in the downtown core, the hotel lacks some of the basic amenities that others have in the same area. Steps from Magnificent Mile shopping and adjacent to the Children's Hospital as well as only a few steps away from Northwestern University and two blocks from the Lake front, the hotel does not provide its guests with a top quality eating experience or a spa facility. I upgraded my stay to a Queen suite and found out that despite paying extra for it, it lacked some of the basic elements that my coworker had in her room for less money. The room layout was the exact same and same size. Same size bed but my workers shower had an adjustable shower head, and more lighting in the room. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the couple who operate the coffee bar in the lobby are amazing. For the price of a night's stay, I could have stayed at the Hyatt or the Hilton up the street and gotten better amenities. It is a nice boutique hotel and needs a few upgrades to make it better. A Hot tub/spa would be a great addition.

Pros: The location, staff and lobby décor.
Beautiful lobby, staff are helpful. Rooms could use a freshening up. Scratched pain cracked bathroom tiles...etc,

Excellent hotelPosted Oct 27, 2015
You can't beat the location!!! This place was excellent. Comfortable bed, awesome shower, and super clean. Staff was great and friendly, took care of all our luggage. Woman at the front desk who checked me in was very nice but the one who checked me out was nasty, like i was wasting her time. But everyone else was great!

Great locationPosted Oct 26, 2015
Great location to downtown shopping and restaurants. Valet parking is a problem, car is taken off property takes approximately 20 minutes to retrieve car and they charge you 61.00 per night

Fantastic hotel in a great spot.Posted Oct 23, 2015
Stayed here on our trip to Chicago to see a Cubs playoff game. Hotel was close to the red line that took us to Wrigley. The location of the hotel was very central with shopping, sites, and dining all very close. The rooms were very nice and clean and we had an awesome view from the 8th floor. Also, check out the rooftop bar and restaurant!

Average hotel off mag milePosted Oct 21, 2015
I love that this hotel is an Expedia VIP member but don't feel like it deserves 4 stars. The rooms are outdated with mismatching furniture. It doesn't make you feel like you're staying in luxury, more the speed of a holiday inn express with a trendy-ish 70's vibe. Got upgraded to a suite but it only had one bed and a pull out vs my regular room with two beds? I prefer real beds to extra room space. The staff was nice and accommodating, I just didn't care for the room and probably wouldn't stay again.

This hotel is in a great location. Right off Michigan Ave. The room was very spacious. The staff was very helpful. The only downside was the elevators, there are only two that go to the top floors. One was broken , so there was always a wait. You get a lot of bang for your buck here, and the staff was ver, very, helpful.

Location, location, location!Posted Oct 19, 2015
Location: Very close to shopping. Neiman Marcus is at the corner of the same block, and many famous restaurants nearby.
The hotel was located very conveniently in the middle of Magnificent Mile. We stayed at the hotel for the Chicago Marathon, and the hotel was a block away from the free shuttle stop for the health & fitness expo site for the marathon attendees. Hotel staff were attentive when I needed their help, but they did not go above and beyond like some of the luxury hotels. Be aware, that there are hidden fees tacked on top of your bill when you check out. It was never explained what the "extra fees" were for, but I was charged for it. I read a few reviews regarding this before I went there, so I did not use any other services at the hotel (no internet, no gym, no breakfast, no nothing!), but I was still charged an extra $10 or so at the end.
