  • Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service

The area is perfect. If you are flying in from Midway airport, you can take the train and it will drop you off in front! But stafflooks like they hate their job and the rooms aren’t the cleanest. If you are looking for so where to stay for an affordable price and convenient location , this place is perfect. But if you’re looking for a nice room , cleaning services and nice staff ... lookin elsewhere!

  • Liked: Cleanliness, amenities

I liked that it was quiet and there was a kitchenette. I didn't like that the parking was down the block, and you had to pay cash. I ended up parking in the Grant Park garages.

  • Liked: Cleanliness

This is a very old property built in 1927. The renovations are still ongoing but despite that it was beautiful the inside was like a trip back in time. We chose to stay in the studio apartment it was just my daughter and I were there for three days to see a friend and it was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable - I believe a new mattress. I would love to have taken it home with me LOL. They have a very nice café with excellent food. It was convenient to everything; parking is a little challenging but that’s to be expected in Chicago. I would highly recommend people go to ParkChicago.com and get an account to park on the street rather than go through the hassle of getting your car through valet. It ended up being about the same cost as a but I had the choice of where my car was. I was able to find a spot right adjacent to the property each day. I parked on Wabash and went in the Wabash entrance. All in all I thought it was a great place to stay and I would definitely stay there again. The staff was very courteous. There was a kitchenette with full-size refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee pot. They don’t have a starter of coffee so you should plan to bring your own coffee and creamer and sugar unless you plan on going downstairs and purchase it. Other than that I can’t think of anything I would say they need to improve.
