Comfortable Stay for what you pay

We stayed 3 nights & the staff was helpful. We didn't have any problem other than the accommodations & it was very quiet. The only things I didn't care for was the continental breakfast and not a full breakfast as they claim. The waffles were too doughy & bland. The eggs were powdered eggs made up. I was asked before I made reservations if they had a full kitchen with a stovetop & the answer was yes. Well there was no full kitchen with a stove but a microwave & a small refrigerator. Also, I request for double bed adjoining rooms which I was told they had & I could get. Well, at check-in I was told that I couldn't get adjoining rooms for double bed rooms because they don't have those. They only have adjoining rooms for single bed rooms.

Convenient and clean

The staff was very courteous and friendly. Rooms were clean but bathroom very small. Bed was very comfortable.

No safety.

Night manager re-made key without asking for last name on reservation or my ID. BIG HOTEL NO-NO. This is why this review is a big FAIL. This is horrible for guest safety.

Had to switch rooms but then ok

Cons: Bug
Location: Not the greatest neighborhood, but ok
There was a dead cockroach in bathroom of first room, but second room was fine. Staff was very good about it.

Be Aware Of Hotels.com

This was the WORST hotel stay I've EVER had! First off, the SUITE I reserved on Hotels.com is not the SUITE I got when I got to Quality Inn. I was given a basic room, that looked nothing like the SUITE that Hotels.com advertised. Hotels.com gave me the option of "Pay Now" or "Pay At Check-in/check-out" but after I selected "Pay at check-in/check-out" 100% of the cost of the hotel stay was taken from my card when I made the reservation. Why provide both options if you are REQUIRED to pay at the time of making the reservation? The microwave didn't work properly, it was a dinosaur microwave. The room smelled like a dog had been in it. The television was MAYBE (at the most) a 25" that was mounted on the wall. However, there was a hot breakfast, but breakfast had to be eaten in the room where the breakfast was served. You can't take your breakfast to your room, but yet they provide a microwave in your room. It's ok to go to a restaurant, get breakfast and take it to my room, but not the breakfast that Quality Inn provides. I've paid much less for better hotels and better hotel amenities. Be careful booking with Hotels.com, you don't always get what you pay for. Oh and did I mention this reservation Non-refundable?!

We stayed in room 111, first floor by the lobby entrance. Iron in room was broken, hair dryer was broken, 2nd night our key cards did not work, many times there were no personnel at the check in counter and someone else checked out using our hotel room number by mistake so our account was credited then debited as they corrected the error (so they did not verify the customer room number?). This hotel was supposedly remodeled, but if so it was remodeled very cheaply.
