Quality needs updatingPosted Aug 29, 2015
Pros: The desk clerks were friendly, and breakfast was good
Cons: It needs a total face lift
Location: Location was great. Close to shopping at the deserted mall. There was a movie theater near by and old downtown was just a 5 minute drive.
The hotel was large and easy to get to. It was apparent that it was an older hotel, as the rooms were very large and roomy. It was fairly clean but was in need of updating. The beds were ok, and the room was large. The hall ways were hot as the air conditioners did not keep up. The lock on the exterior door in our section did not work so anyone from the outside could enter the hotel at any time. The breakfast were ample. Coffee good. It was comfortable, but could use some work. My room window was cracked. The air conditioners were very loud and had to run nearly all the time to keep the rooms cool. I would stay there again because the price was good an the rooms were clean.

Pros: THE POOL
Cons: GUEST SERVICE
Asked for 1st floor because the couple that was with as can't do stairs. Even called them to tell them that still could not or would move us. That will be the LAST time we stay there.

Close to event we attended.Posted Jun 15, 2015
Pros: Not much.
Cons: Lighting in parking lot all the way around building. Smell removed from area.
Location: Stayed here because it was close to event we came for.
Back side of hotel is to dark. Access to lobby is not the most desirable when your room is all the way around. Room and hallway around that room smelled like cat pee.

Hotel stayPosted Jun 12, 2015
Cons: We found a strange sock in our bedroom
Location: Had meetings at the St Charles Country Club.
Nice little place to spend the night at a reasonable rate. Beds were very comfortable and showers were great. Nice little complementary breakfast. The coffee was even very good.

Nice hotel convenient to townPosted Jun 5, 2015
Pros: Comfortable bed. Quiet.
Location: Convenient to quaint downtown St. Charles and the Fox river.
I would highly recommend this hotel. Rooms are nicely appointed with upgraded bedding and granite counters. The highlight is the breakfast buffet with a very large selection of hot and cold items - everyone can find something they like.

I used to stay at another hotel in the area on my visits to Illinois but from now on I'll stay at Quality Inn. Very nice place, and friendly staff. Thanks

I had recently stayed a few weeks earlier at this hotel. I had to travel for unexpected business, so I logged onto Hotels.com and immediately booked this property again. Everything was EXCELLENT!!!!

stay somewhere else!Posted May 26, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel has no elevator and we were given a room on the second floor. We dragged all our luggage to second floor but our room was not there. When we asked the front desk where it was, the manager told us about the labyrinth of hallways we needed to go through to find the right staircase. No offer of help with the luggage. We got to the room on the second floor, where the halls are not air conditioned and so very steamy hot, and our keys would not work. We went back to the front desk and got new keys. Trekked back to our room and found that these keys didn't work either. Many guests appeared to be having the same problem. But the absolute worst thing was that when we unfolded a bath towel, there was a disgusting brown substance on it. It made the whole stay an uncomfortable experience because we wondered about the cleanliness of everything after that. Stay at any other place in St.Charles!
