very convenient

Location: Right downtown in loop right near river
Perfect hotel if you are training in from either airport drops you off right at door fast check in, friendly staff, great food, nice bar.

This hotel was perfectly located! Lots of nearby shopping and restaurants. I love all the amenities and the staff was very attentive😊

Great location, good pool, cramped room

I've stayed here before and loved it. I was not satisfied this trip because I reserved a 2 queen bed room and was put in a room with one "king" bed. It was a handicap accessible room so the bed was "a little smaller" according to the front desk- it was a queen bed. 1 adult and 3 children with one bed did not work. They sent up a roll away bed which helped but made the room very cramped. I will say on a prior stay at the same hotel 2 of us got a very spacious room with an actual king sized bed and a couch. I would have been happy with that. They gave us complimentary breakfast both mornings but it didn't make up for the lack of sleep due to the cramped sleeping. They had a free activity Saturday which my kids loved- Cookie decorating. We loved the pool. The hotel is in a great location. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go!

Loved the room, and really loved the view. But the rooms are a little small inside the room. But it was an excellent good hotel.

Great location if going to theater district.

Pros: Staff, very friendly.
Cons: Could use a "time out" and some facility info in the room, we couldn't find any?
Location: Great location, house of blues across river, near all theaters, many dining options within walking distance.
Near all theaters, many eating options in area, short cab ride to even better places to eat HVAC controls are different to use. Very nice staff, even valet people.

One of Chicago's Best Hotels

We had a wonderful time. So Jerry Seinfeld at the Chicago Theater, dinner at Miller's Pub and a great night at the Renaissance Hotel. Sampson, behind the bar, was very nice and fun to chat with. Even though it was frightfully cold out, we enjoyed our stay!

It's a nice hotel. Staff was overall pretty helpful, but could've been better. Paying $15-18/day for wifi was absurd. Valet wouldn't let me borrow a cart to bring my luggage up. He insisted that he do it and I tip him. I don't know if that's common practice but any place where I've needed to borrow a cart to unload luggage and bring it to the room, I've never been hassled like that--including other Chicago and big city hotels. I honestly don't think I would stay there again. I'm trying to be objective, but there are better hotels in the price range with better service and no extra wifi charge.

Great location expected more for the price

The place was lovely the bars were nice and the workers were friendly. The train was easily heard all night and the bathroom shower was dirty. More than 8 hairs in the tub which grossed me out and made me second guess the cleanliness of the room.
