It was a nice Hotel with great Staff, close to all the big stores and the shores, a little bit older maybe required a renovation on the furniture of the rooms, but the suite its big with all the amenities for a nice stays.

The pull out couch was disgusting. Utterly discolored and out of shape. $70 for overnight parking and no where close to self park. Bathroom was nice. Good breakfast and coffee. Great customer service.

This place was not what the pictures portrayed. I was supposed to get upgrades, and never did. I paid a hundred dollar deposit for 2 nights, plus $75 for valet (because there was no other parking, apparently…?) and even though I only stayed for 1 night, they refused to reimburse me for my deposit, or valet parking. So they basically stole my money. The staff was incredibly rude, and had absolutely no customer skills whatsoever. Wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

The free breakfast could have had more variety. More cold cereal options (as that isn't too costly to offer). Possibly offer fruit/melon and even pre-made waffles could be a good change. The breakfast hours were very limited 7am-9am is a bit late for early morning workers. I suggest starting at 6am to 9:30am on weekdays to allow working guests to have opportunity. Property is older but well kept. I didnt see the business office amenity working and that would be a favorable feature for working people.

Our first room wasn’t cleaned well. There were wads of human hair in several areas of the carpet (like someone cleaned out a comb or brush and dropped it across the room). The sitting area furniture was badly worn out and didn’t really fit the room - there was lots of room but little furniture. Also, the outside of the kitchen cabinets were filthy. We were able to move to another room but we did find broken glass in the carpet. Housekeeping only comes every 3 days.The location is of the hotel is perfect!

Furniture in room was old and a little raggedy. We got a room with a couch pull out bed and half the springs were missing on the bed. Found dirty socks u see couch. The rest of the room was clean and decent. Good location. Decent breakfast.

A bit disappointed in our room. It was dirty and dingy. The bathroom area was small and tight. The bed was hard, like sleeping on a boxspring hard. The “stock” photos were not what we thought we were getting. The staff were excellent, just disappointed with cleanliness of room and the room itself.

We book a room for 3, and they prepare it for 2, they forgot blankets and towels. We requested them and we got some blankets , but one was missing , they I requested again towels and the missing blanket and nothing came . Finally I just gave up. The room phone didn’t work , and I got tired of going down .

Poor condition of rooms and chairs. Called to request to cancel 2 room 3 day reservation based on bedbug concerns from recent Google reviews. First, they said that it's is past the deadline to cancel without penalty. I asked them to leave it as it is. When I arrived at 11pm at night, they apparently had cancelled the reservation, penalized me, and did not inform me of anything regarding the cancelation.

Parking is $70 for overnight, which is not evident online. Room had blood on the towel, in the tub, and brown marks on the sheets. I brought this up to staff and they were great about it which is why I Marked the stay as 3 stars not one.

The property was really clean and the rooms was big and comfortable the only thing I didn’t like is because they didn’t put new toilet paper,clean towels and tissue paper on the second day so I went to the front desk and they send it to the room but after that everything was good

Honestly booked this hotel last minute, didn’t have huge expectations but upon arrival everything was nowhere near expected. Staff was very friendly, polite even upon my 11pm/12am arrival - made check in quick and easy. Room was immaculate, I booked the king suite. Literally had everything you needed, full kitchen (pots, pans, silverware, etc.) , LR and private bedroom. The view from my room wasn’t the best just seen balconies of apts mainly but I didn’t mind. Breakfast was served each day, don’t expect anything fancy but it’s doable as it’s included with your stay. Spoke with one or two staff members daily throughout my stay and all showed the most upmost respect and genuine attitude with genuine conversation. As a first timer to Chicago - this hotel stay definitely made me want to come back besides having more exploring to do. Will definitely be staying here again.

My room had no phone. Also, it may not have been vacuumed. Finally, atround 3-4am on Sunday 1/28/2024 a huge disturbance took place on another floor and next my room a man was screaming extremely loud at another person so that I was afraid for my safety. Before I got up and looked for a phone (which wasn't there!) there was quiet. What i liked is the kitchen equipment. I was able to make some food and eat it with silverware on earthenware plates.

This was a complete disappointment. My wife and I were visiting our daughter who attends college in Chicago. We have stayed at this property previously - 18 months earlier. We could not beleive how the property has declined in every way since that first experience. We nearly asked for our money back. The furniture in the room was awful...torn, stained, dirty...disgusting. The elevatore was filthy. If we had not checked-in late...we would have left.

Overall, I liked this property because the building was quiet (and I stayed on a weekend night), the proximity to a lot of things to do and places to go, and the breakfast. The staff was friendly and check in and out was smooth and quick. The downside was the cleanliness and condition of the property. I stayed in a studio king and there was so much debris and foreign items under the couch. It was as if things were pushed under the couch or housekeeping just didnt move furniture to clean. Also, the stove in my room was cracked, making it so I couldnt use it (and luckily I didnt need to). Also, the elevator wall was coming apart and the elevators had food and utensils on the floor. I did appreciate their breakfast. It was plenty of fulfilling food and drinks.
