Clean, Convenient, and Reasonably Priced

Pros: Location, room amenities (internet, fridge, microwave, king size bed), and free shuttle. Staff was helpful and friendly.
Cons: Gym area is limited.
Location: O'Hare airport is about 15 mins away. El train station is about 2 mins by vehicle.
The hotel exceeded my expectations. Room was spacious, clean and has a sink, fridge, microwave. Internet and breakfast included. Shuttle to the airport, subway, and nearby Marriott Hotel is complimentary. Overall, for a business traveler who does not need all the frills, this hotel does the trick.

Nice hotel, limited parking

My husband and I stayed here for our recent wedding anniversary and it fit our needs. There was a nice sitting area with a couch and chair. Also the room had a fridge, microwave and kitchenette sink. The bathroom was small but the shower was nice. Not super fancy but defiantly cozy. I'd stay here again.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Only down size - water wasn't hot enough in the shower.... Would stay again

A gem in the city!

Pros: Friendly staff, quiet rooms, bright and colorful, very clean, great breakfast!
Location: Close to O'Hare, lots of restaurants (Outback Steakhouse on site) near by. Shop Skokie folks, everything you need is there!
This is the second time we've stayed at Springhill Suites, and I only have wonderful things to say - The facility offers free parking, which isn't easy to find in the city! The staff were all very courteous and kind to us - from desk staff, to housekeeping and the sweetie who greeted us at breakfast. Our room was clean and comfy in every regard. I appreciate that there were guests everywhere, but we didn't hear them. It drives me nuts when you can hear plumbing above and below, (or anywhere) or walls are so thin you can hear a neighbor blow their nose. Not the case here. It was a quiet hotel. We were super impressed with breakfast as well. We showed up nearing the end of when the meal was offered, but still found everything fully stocked and hot food offerings were HOT. There was a ton of things to choose from. We are in Chicago a few times a year and will definitely be back. We can only recommend Springhill Suites with highest regard!

No park and fly as quoted by Expedia.

I made my reservation over the phone with an Expedia representative. I was looking for a park and fly hotel after a one night stay as my family (6 of us) were flying to Houston early in the morning to catch a cruise out of Galveston. We drove 7+ hours to reach Chicago and were tired and in need of a good night's rest. I was very unpleasant ly surprised upon check in when the hotel staff told me I could not leave my car at the hotel for the week. That they don't offer park and fly. I had very directly asked the Expedia rep about this and was assured it was all set for park n fly. I ended up paying an additional $80+ to park my car for a week at an offshore parking lot. I will never trust Expedia with another reservation. Go straight to the source if you want accurate information.
