Book on Expedia - You're a 3rd Class Guest

Cons: Front desk attitude toward Expedia bookings
Disappointing to learn that booking on Expedia means the desk staff will address your concerns with, "Well you booked on Expedia, so there isn't really anything we can do about that." Book a 2-queen suite for 5 with a fold-out sofa that turns out to fold-out inconveniently flush with one of the other beds so you have to climb over the fold out bed to get to the bathroom--'Too bad!' Prepare to call Housekeeping every evening after a full day of sightseeing to beg for bathroom linens for each person to have their own towel and washcloth. Bring all your own toiletries as they will leave 1 tiny bottle of lotion for the entire 3-night stay, but you may be lucky and get a tiny bottle of shampoo & conditioner each day. Coffee--you get enough for 1 cup regular + 1 cup decaf for your entire party of 5. The location of the hotel is good and some support staff are kind--valet, breakfast room. And the breakfast is terrific! But overall I feel that if I'm paying $3xx/night + add'l $6x/night taxes + add'l $4x/night to self-park, then please don't treat me like a 3rd class guest because I'm paying out-of-pocket using Expedia and not a corporate account or Marriott points. Next time it's back to the Palmer House Hilton and better guest services.

Perfect Hotel

Everything was super clean, staff was friendly, and vary welcoming.. The free breakfast is always a plus, and hotel bar was perfect if you didn't want to go anywhere. Pool and hot tub was maintained. The only thing I didn't like was the entance. You walk in the ground floor, but then you have to go up the elevator just to go to the lobby.. then you take a completely different elevator to get to the rooms. Then to get back outside, you take the room elevator to the lobby of the hotel, then a different to the ground floor.. annoying but easily do-able.

Great hotel close to many restaurants.

Stayed for one night the hotel was really good was really cleaned didn't have a weird hotel smell the bathroom was really clean the room very spacious an the staff extremely nice I asked to check out later since check outlet was at 11am I got to check out at 3pm for half the rate price of the next day the price was very fair overall nice place a lot of restaurants around the hotel good ones too.

Nice hotel in Chicago northside

Nice hotel with great staff. Food in Hollyway is good. Many restaurants within walking distance. They added microwave in rooms which was a complain I had made at my last stay.
