Filthy. The state of the bathroom was Unbelievable. Overall, the hotel reminds me of those roadside motels in Nevada that go for $3 a night. One star at best. Staff was OK though.

room is very clean and hotel quaint, 10min or less walk to Northwestern, very convenient to restaurants & shops although most places close at 10pm. Very friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast buffet boasts excellent bread - favorites include the cranberry and apple streusel which taste like homemade.

Pros: Great location, nice vintage feel to hotel. Nice that they validate parking at nearby garage.
Cons: Restaurant sold out for a party but what can you do, good options were close by. Breakfast was just okay; have had better, but have had much worse.
Location: Beautiful residential neighborhood, and drive up from Chicago shows off more of the same. So close to Northwestern and downtown shops, easy to just pa
