The hotel is nice. Above average I'd say. But, it's the location that really makes it great. Well situated in River North right off Michigan Ave so you have easy access to everything. Friendly staff, enjoyed our stay!

Pros: Very good breakfasts, but lapses in service in the breakfast room.
Cons: Crack in walls bear windows and doors
Location: Flagship AT&T store worth a visit, also Bloomingdales Home
Overall excellent casualness, Would definitely return!

Great location and lovely hotel

Cons: There was a lot of noise outside, but I guess this cannot be helped being in the city.
Visited Chicago on holiday - a great location to be based. A lot of the main things were comfortably within walking distance but only two blocks to the nearest L train stop. Lovely, modern hotel with everything that you'd expect and friendly staff.

Pros: Kostenloser Fahrradverleih.
Cons: Siehe Frühstück.
Location: Direkt an der Michigan Avenue. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Stadtspaziergänge. Sehr viele Geschäfte, Bars und Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe.
Das Hotel besticht durch zentrale Lage und gute Ausstattung. Das gilt ebenfalls für die Zimmer, die ausreichend groß und sehr sauber sind. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und jederzeit, außerordentlich hilfsbereit. Der einzige Nachteil besteht darin, das kein Frühstücksbuffet angeboten wird und die a` la carte Angebote sich nur schwer kombinieren lassen und auch recht teuer sind.

Pros: Location, location, location, (boutique) style, clean
Cons: The hotel could probably use a slight interior design refresh soon but overall, but still really nice and clean boutique hotel.
Location: Very near The Purple Pig, Shake Shack, Eataly, Chicago River, all the shopping on Magnificent mile
The location was unbeatable! Close to great places to eat around the corner like The Purple Pig, Shake Shack, Eataly, etc. My husband is a chef and our anniversary trip to Chicago was about dining out. Everything was a short walk away including the Chicago River. The staff was friendly, our Studio suite was a really great size and very, very comfortable. The play pen the staff brought up was great for my baby.

Pros: su ubicación y atención de personal
Location: excelente ubicación; muy centrico y con fácil acceso a muchas actividades turísticas
muy buen hotel, bien situado, habitaciones de buen tamaño pero sobre todo la atención del personal fue excelente. Lo único que mejoraría sería un mejor menú para desayunar

Quick visit to Chicago

The location is great. Unfortunately, we received a room that was handicapped accessible and we didn't need it. So the shower was awkward and I wasn't a fan of the sliding door to the bathroom. Otherwise, we were satisfied with the hotel. Staff was so friendly!

Well located hotel

I first stayed at a The James hotel in Miami which I loved. Sadly this didn't live up to the same high quality experience I had there. However this is a simple good quality hotel well located for shopping and other central tourist attractions. The concierge and bell men were very helpfu. The front desk were OK but could have been more aware of the number of people in line. The seating in the lobby by the front desk makes there place look cheap and too hectic with very little space. Breakfast in the hotel was average. The gym was impressive but no area to change etc.
