The window had an isolation problem. They fix it but the first night there was a chilling air coming from the window..
The room was great, the beds were comfy and the view was awesome. We enjoyed the gym, spa, shopping and food without going out into the super cold weather. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The perfect staycation!
We had an incredible stay- we are already planning on Christmas 2024 Chicago ritz, and are telling everyone about the magical experience. Everyone was so nice to the kids . Special shoutout to Jorge at the restaurant with his balloon animals - a highlight

Terrible experience. I have stayed at many Ritz Carleton properties. This Chicago location was very disappointing. The staff are rude, aloof and disorganized. Upon arrival the door man doesn’t even open the front door. Restaurant staff are rude and take forever to serve you. Upon check out I didn’t even get asked how my stay was. In addition, the cleaning staff knocks on your door way prior to check out demanding when we are leaving. The spa is a disaster. I had booked services for myself and my mom and when we arrive they are telling us someone cancelled our reservation. After 20 mins of back and forth finally I said we are leaving then she says “oh I was mistaken.” I found your services. What kind of Ritz Carlton is this? They could learn a lot from the Ritz Carlton in Toronto. This would never have taken place in Toronto.

Hotel and staff were great. My only complaint is that the room was hot even when we turned the thermostat down to 68. I am sure it had to do with the changing seasons...not really a complaint. Bed and linens super comfortable. Shower had great water pressure, hot. Would definitely stay again

The room was very outdated and not clean. The towels had hair on them. The carpet had good stains not cleaned and the pillows were so old
