Pros: Staff was helpful and friendly. Conveniently located. Nice decor.
Cons: I am picky about tile cleanliness in showers, could have been cleaner. While muffled, noise from the train could disturb some guests.
Location: Easy to walk to theaters, restaurants, and shopping.
Enjoyed our stay, the hotel was a great place to rest after busy days seeing shows, checking out local colleges, and exploring a few of Chicago's wonderful restaurants. The food in the hotel's restaurant was delicious, too.

Incredible Hotel

Everything was perfect. I would have rated it 5 stars across the board but my room on the 26th floor was under the Roof nightclub and some sound did bleed in late at night. Otherwise Everything was perfect.

Transparency lacking

$11.95 a day for Wi-Fi $65.00 a day for vehicle parking $4.00 for a 6oz glass of OJ i didnt order 20% gratuity added to check at the ROOF * had a midnight reservation at the roof which requires a 150$ spend minimum so thats min of a 30$ we didnt know about No HOT WATER the first day due to the hotel knowingly working on it for preventive maintenence, which we werent even informed of. Stay somewhere else

Broken plumbing in the men's locker room of the spa, the toilet leaked in the room, housekeeping ignored my do not disturb all three days I stayed. Finally got driven out by a noisy party upstairs that the front desk wouldn't handle. Never again.

Pros: great location and helpful staff...also enjoyed the restaurant !
It is a very friendly hotel with a very helpful staff in a great location. This is our second time to stay there and we will do it again when we go to Chicago !

We liked it so much we booked again

I initially chose this hotel for the location and price but what really made me want to book another night was the staff. From the moment we first walked in until the moment we left, we were greeted warmly and friendly. The half a dozen or so staff members that we interacted with during our visit each took the time to listen and understand our needs. They then did their utmost to either meet or exceed them. Everything from an early check in to restaurant recommendations that would meet our family of 4. We liked to hotel so much that when our trip got extended I didn't bother searching for another place. We came right back to theWit.
