Great View

Pros: The View was fantastic and the staff was very nice.
Cons: The tech could be updated and the size of the rooms could be larger a group of 4 in the Fabulous room is pretty cramped.
Location: Navy pier is really close Michigan Ave is pretty close about a 15 minute walk.
We had a great View of Lake Michigan and Navy Pier. The room I booked looked much larger in the photos and seemed more updated than what I actually got. The description said something about a dock for iPhones. Well the dock they had was for the old 30 pin connectors that I'm sure no one that would be booking this hotel would have.

Interesting design sense

Pros: Design, speed of the elevators, layour
Cons: The only bad note was a bad pop art painting of giant overdone lips that was basically creepy. My daughter told her kids not to look at it.
Liked the room, staff was friendly, food was overpriced

INSANE service, close to everything Chicago!

This hotel was amazing! The staff (Alex at front desk) started us off our weekend by getting us in early, and was FANTASTIC helping us with some unexpected email/fax situations, he took care of it all. Our room over looked Lake Michigan and Navy Pier. Room was quiet. Lighting in the entire hotel is to die for! The work out facility was spectacular for a hotel. Only 4 star I gave was for the pool. It was cold, and the bottom was peeling, coming off, tiles coming undone, but we gave it a swim! Everything about this place was stunning. DEF will be back. A few blocks from Michigan Mile and anything else you need. We never took a taxi once, besides to and from the train. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

January 22, 2017 W Chicago -Lakeshore 644 North Lakeshore Drive Chicago, IL To Management/Customer Service: This past weekend (January 20th – the 22nd), my Lady and I resided at your hotel, In the end, I guarantee that I, nor will my company ever use your establishment again. I was appalled at the service, the initial presentation was awful, the food subpar, and the company’s communication terrible.  Upon checking in, I had to wait 30 mins. When I finally get to my room, I open the Window blinds and find duct tape covering cracks in the wall. I guess Duct Tape was applied to conceal it (Room 3012, Please see attached picture).  Once in my room, I wanted to order Room Service- no Menu in the room. Called the Front Desk- I had to wait 30 minutes for a menu.  My Lady and I want to relax, the room was reserved for two- yet there is only one Robe in the room. Call the front Desk- after 30 minutes we receive a second Robe.  Amenities: There was no Refrigerator in the room, but I was able to get one after calling the Front Desk. However even though there is a sign in the room that stated that I could make the same request for a Microwave, no Microwave was available.  Wanted to watch Movie from the Room- I was met with an error message. I followed the message and called the Front Desk- she said I was good, I hung up and tried again. It did not work. Called a second time- she did something on her end, and told me to try again. I tried with her on the phone- It did not work. The

The hotel was at a great location. The hotel atmosphere was eclectic and nice to hang around. The rooms were very nice and the staff over exceeded my expectations!

Gap in sliding bathroom doors too revealing

Pros: Price. Staff.
Cons: Bathroom doors should close all the way. I will not stay at this hotel again.
Location: Reasonable walk to Michigan ave.
Bad bathroom door design caused significant gap making bathroom activities visible. Ok if you are staying by yourself. Too revealing if sharing with other occupant.
