Midden in het centrum, alles op loopafstand.

Posted Sep 27, 2016

I was waiting for the staff to pick up a laundry bag for almost an hour and finally I brought the bag to the reception. Called them several time they even did not say "sorry"

A conference in Chicago

Posted Sep 24, 2016
Pros: The cleanliness and pleasant staff.
Location: Downtown - lots of shopping available within walking distance.
Small room, but I didn't spend a lot of time there; room service was excellent. The room was very clean and the staff very nice and helpful. Downtown Chicago has great shopping and I didn't have to drive to go shopping in the evenings.

Convenient location

Posted Sep 23, 2016
Pros: Bed very comfortable, and bathroom was very clean and modern (glass shower, etc.)
Cons: We stayed in the second to smallest size room but very pleasant, more than enough space.
Location: Many great restaurants, coffee shops within two blocks - and of course all the shopping destinations.
I noticed several reviews citing "very slow elevators," however, our visit was in mid-September and absolutely no problems. Small but fast moving elevators with no wait time more than a couple of minutes. Charming room AND you can open the windows!

Greetings! Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback regarding your stay. I'm very glad that you enjoyed your time with us and that you took advantage of our location central to the dining, shopping, and attractions of Chicago. We have ten different room types in our hotel, some bigger and some smaller, but all of them we aim to be well appointed. We very recently became a Warwick-branded property, and one of our priorities is updating all of the rooms; another is improving all of the public spaces. In the coming months, we also plan to upgrade our elevator services. We are getting closer step by step to providing the impeccable service that we feel our guests deserve. Please come back soon, we would love to have you again.

The hotel has 443 rooms in 10 different room types; no two rooms are exactly the same. I regret that you didn't get a room with a satisfactory bathroom. Awesome location

I stay in this hotel a few times a year and am never disappointed. Hotel staff are the best and rooms are always clean and comfortable. Right off of Michigan Ave and only a few blocks from the lake front to get in a good run.

Quaint Hotel

Pros: Very pleasant people who seem to enjoy their work
Cons: Need to improve the quality of the tea. Could add hot chocolate packets and hot apple cider packets.
Location: Close to shopping, museums, restaurants and theaters.

Great location, historic property

Posted Sep 19, 2016
Pros: Location.
Cons: More amenities as a standard part of the room, instead of charging extra for them -- especially Wi-Fi.
Location: Just about everything a visitor to Chicago could want is within easy walking distance.
This was a perfectly comfortable, if basic, room. Nice, clean, large bed and a great view of Michigan Ave. Plenty of places to eat and shop within walking distance. The front desk staff did warn me at check-in that the mini-bar had some kind of weight-sensitive instrument in it that would ensure I got charged for items in there if I even so much as picked them up and moved them around. Needless to say, I didn't even open up the fridge. The room was small, but when you consider that the building was from the 1920s, it makes perfect sense. Besides, when you're in Chicago, the room is for sleeping, not for hanging around in! You want to get out and see the town, and things are hoppin' around this hotel!

Cons: Clean the carpet, replace the headboards with stains and update the bathrooms
I paid over $1400 to stay here for a few nights and the room was below par! It was dissappointing

Greetings! I'm sorry to hear that the room did not meet your expectations. We actually became a Warwick branded property just two years ago and the hotel is poised for renovations to both its public spaces and private rooms. Everything will be refreshed, and we hope that you return and that we'll be able to put you into a room to your satisfaction.

Ratio price/quality is completely off scale, even for an hotel located downtown. Heritage... good definition and excuse to not change the carpet and keep the smell out of the rooms. The first night i had to kill a spider that was wondering on my pillows, the remaining three night i only had to deal with the smell coming from the 15 years old carpet... NOT GOING BACK THERE! cleanliness wise it was worse that a new motel 6, very similar to a somehow old motel six. THEY ARE NOT SEEING MY MONEY IN THE FUTURE!
