Initially at check in, I was please. We had contacted the hotel early to ask about a crib for our 8 month old. The woman had a crib set up in the room. This was very nice because we arrived in the evening and needed to get our babe to bed after her bath. It was great. The main issue I had about this hotel was the toilet was clogged when we arrived and we didnt' realize it until both my husband and I had already dressed for bed. When we called the front desk, the woman said we would have to come down and get a plunger to handle this ourselves. To me, this was DISGUSTING. We both just decided to use the toilet in the lobby because we were not going to clean up that mess ourselves. I was very very disappointed with this situation.
Another issue was my husband wanted to have a cocktail after driving for a while, and the bar was not open. It was 7 pm on a Monday.

Thank you for staying with us at the Wingate by Wyndham Schaumburg. I do regret that we did not have more staff on hand to address your toilet issue, instead of just the Front Desk team member to hand you a plunger. I apologize for the inconvenience to you.
If you stayed with us during Labor Day week, the bar was closed due to the Holiday.
