Very Pleasant Stay

Pros: The cleanliness and friendliness of the staff.
Location: Only stayed one night
From check-in to check-out, the staff was very friendly. I was impressed how clean the hotel was and how comfortable the beds were. The bathroom was stocked with plenty of amenities. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and the staff kept refilling things so there was always plenty for all. The dining room was arranged in such a way that you could use appropriate seating, whether you were a single or a family. The location to the airport was right on and the shuttle service was timely.

Close to airport

Pros: Breakfast, coffee and hot water all day, concession kiosk.
For flying in and out of Chicago, this hotel is ideal. Great breakfast!

Be careful for Bed Bugs

There were bed bugs on bed. I started to feel itch on my arms after got in to bed imeadeately. A week later, today Friday still I have problems on arm. Next week I decided to go to see doctor. I felt that beds were not clean. Except for this, other things were very good.

Quiet in spite of airport proximity

Pros: Everything went smoothly.
Cons: More choices for food in the concessions shop. Especially for warm dishes, like soups.
Location: As I like to walk and didn’t have a car, the inability to walk to the closest restaurant, just over a mile away, because of freeway was problem.
Although on a major freeway and close to the airport, it is relatively quiet. Shuttle from airport was easy, as was check in.

Hampton Inn- Schiller Park

This hotel is located near o’hare. It’s not the easiest to get to if you are traveling south on Mannheim. It would be nice if there was a street light at the hotel. The hotel grounds and inside were nice and well kept. There is not much for attractions immediately around the hotel (like walking distance) but only a few miles drive from the Rosemont mall. The room itself was nothing exciting- just basic- but the bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was designed weird with the toilet paper in an odd spot and the faucet in the shower was difficult to turn.

Better than Home

Pros: It was clean, attractive, and comfortable. I liked the general design and décor. I also enjoyed the special Halloween decorations.
Cons: No improvement necessary!
Location: Schiller Park (by O'Hare Field) has a fun retro (1950's) restaurant/bar called HubCaps where we had my husband's high school reunion luncheon.
This is the second time we've stayed overnight at this hotel (a Friday night before my husband's high school class reunion). Check-in and check-out were a breeze with our prior reservation with Expedia. The room was quiet and very comfortable (even though we were on the streetside of a major thoroughfare and about a 1/2 mile from the airport). We got a good night's sleep. This hotel has these very cuddly comforters on the beds which I look forward to. We ate the complimentary breakfast which was had many items, was fresh, and of high quality. The hotel was decorated for Halloween in a way that made you feel like you were at an independent inn where the family was looking after all the details. The staff also felt like it was a family running the place.

Good location

Easy to take the free 24hr shuttle from hotel to airport to access train to go downtown. Traffic is horrible no matter what time or which way you are going.

Good location

Good according to the description of the hotel, but it had a non working hair dryer, non working restroom fan and the Jacuzzi was hot but no jets. Clean facilities, Good breakfast, safe parking lot, only 15 min wait in between shuttles, excellent staff on front desk and breakfast area, but the ladies cleaning the rooms were loud and with obnoxious vocabulary and even with all of that I had an excellent stay.
