Clean, Quite Hotel in the Middle of Chico

I stayed here for one night while visiting friends. The room was amazingly quiet even though the hotel was full. The staff was very efficient and helpful. The only reason I gave it 4 stars overall was because the air conditioner was a bit noisy. I would recommend this hotel to people passing through.

Hotel is nice but no elevator

Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: GET AN ELEVATOR!!
This is a nice hotel. A little old, but clean and very friendly staff. The problem is that they have no elevator. I was booked on the second floor and had 3 heavy bags. Not only did they not have an elevator, they have no bellhop to help you up the stairs. So, luckily the front desk clerk was able to move me to the first floor. I would prefer to not be on this floor, but had no choice. I appreciated her help.

Walking distance to CSUC & downtown Chico.

Went to CCAA for Track & Field event in CSUC; visited a Brewery/Restaurant for dinner & walked around downtown Chico in one day.

Family Memorial

Pros: The greeting, checking in, the room, the breakfast room were all great.
Knew Chico well, until 1947. Returned for a family Memorial. Was totally lost. Goggle directions on how to get there from Oregon were great, until getting into Chico. Found the motel by accident. Everything else was super.

The bed was very comfortable and I loved all the pillows. Centrally located, quiet, a full breakfast, working wifi, reasonably priced. I will definitely look to stay in a Quality Inn on my next road trip!

5 Star service

The location is local to the downtown & in easy walking distance to many nice places to eat. The room was clean, in good/newer condition and the bed comfy. Breakfast is what you expect which was good fair, not a dining experience. A nice start to the day with hot food and plenty of carbs, bagels etc. and a generous 9:30 cut off time. The best part of the stay and better than most of the places I have stayed, including 5 star resorts, was the service. The manager Jennifer, called my room to offer to house my rented bike in the office to protect it! Thanks. She also let me stay past check-out willingly. Housekeeping and the rest of the people you normally see were also very nice. Overall a great experience and I will definitely return.

Not the best room

I was put in a room at the end of a hall with a window into the hall. There was s light in the hall that was on all night. The blinds on the window were ineffective and I woke up at 2am and couldn't go back to sleep. At check-out, I told her staff about this issue and they were already aware of it. Why did they sell the room if they knew there was s problem? It wasn't worth the cost-

Hotel smelled like Fabuloso. Disgusting. I had to turn on the HVAC to clear it out. Have to close bathroom door to access toilet paper. Bad lighting for make-up application. Really dirty rug. Wear slippers at all times.
