Bad hotel experience

Location: My hometown so very nice place
We were in the rear of the hotel and it appears that we were forgotten. The staff did not work on Christmas day according to the front desk. Unfortunately we observed them cleaning rooms in other parts of the hotel. We would of not received new towels except for our bugging the front desk. Other days that we had room cleaning the staff was not friendly, especially when we asked to have the sheets changed after three days. The hotel was a former Holiday Inn that was remodeled for their brand except for the rear areas where we were stuck. The front desk commented that we received a too cheap rate from Expedia when we checked in so I wonder if that is why we were treated so poorly. I am from this area visiting home so not a good move for this hotel.

Convienent hotel location

Location: Center of everything
Honest. This discribes the staff. Very happy to get my earrings and ring back! Very thankful for the honesty this staff provided.

Nice Hotel great free breakfast

Disappointed

The hotel is old and needs LOTS of updating. The hallways needed vacuuming. The chair in our room was torn and old. The entire hotel smelled strongly of air freshner. I’d prefer it just smelled clean. The area is questionable and I was worried about leaving the car in their lot, but ended up not having an issue. We wouldn’t stay here again.

Staff was polite and helped us kindly. But he did give us the key to someone else’s room and there were others inside the room. So we had to go all the way back to the desk from the second floor. Everything was perfect until I picked up my clothes off the floor and it had gotten covered in dust from the floor from staying over night meaning they did not vacum properly. But the top of everything was good and dust free it was just the carpet that was dusty.

Ramada Inn is clean, efficient, and located near Highway 99. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was very filling.

One of the best hotels in the Chico area

Pros: Room was very clean and well maintained. Good breakfast choices. Staff was very friendly.
Cons: Change the bedding to include a blanket of a normal weight.
Location: Visit Chico creek at One-Mile dam park.
The room and morning breakfast were very good. However, the bed has an unusually heavy blanket. You are either too warm and uncomfortable with the weight, or chilled using only the sheet for a cover. Trying to adjust the A/C to compensate using either arrangement did not work.

Not what we expected from a Ramada

Disappointed in the condition of the room. Exterior doors didn’t unlock at posted time and we were locked out of the hotel twice. Continental breakfast required a voucher given at check in and hotel staff did not inform us of the requirement. Bed was as hard as a rock too.

In need of upgrades, including a new bathroom door as it didn’t close all the way and didn’t lock. Still has popcorn ceilings. The rest of the hotel is nice. Good breakfast options.

Needs work

The room was clean but the general facility is in need of repair and updating. Dated and in poor condition. We needed the maintenance man to let us into our room three times in two days because the card lock key would not work. The general manager was very nice but the rest of the front desk staff seemed a little lost.
