Rude and unclean

Posted Sep 2, 2013
Cons: Everything!
Location: In a scary part of town
Front desk attendants are extremely rude. Made us get out bed to come talk to them after they sAid we could take care of it in the morning. Comforters/curtains were riped. Breakfast was a joke.

Very depressing place, but clean. You get what you pay for at this one. No complaints. You might want to look elsewhere.

Motel Plantation Inn

Posted Jul 11, 2012
The hotel is more like a motel. The rooms smell like cigarrette. The service is ok but the rooms are not well kept.

Adequate old motel, nothing to write home about.

Posted Jul 10, 2012
Pros: Comfortable bed. Friendly staff.
Cons: Dreary gray hallways, formica furniture. No ambiance. Pool not in use. No landscaping, just a parking lot!
Location: Remember that James Taylor line? "Classic shot of the parking lot..." Located at the intersection of 291 and the Mass Pike. No view!
A very basic old motel, clean, decent beds, but no ambiance or extras. Indoor pool advertised on Expedia, but a sign in the lobby says the pool is unavailable this year. No shampoos, ugly grey hallways. Staff was pleasant but we were booked into the wrong room (1 king bed given for 3 people) and had to switch. Very attractive hotel room photos on Expedia on the listing for this hotel are not of this hotel! Not bad if you just need a place to sleep.

Not what we expected

Posted Nov 16, 2011
The positives: convenient to highway and coffee shop The negatives: Advertised as a non-smoking hotel - guests are allowed to smoke and it's nasty smelling to and from your room, hallways not clean at all, sticky flooring. No elevator, you have to carry your bags up 2 flights of stairs. Decor is very dated and old, in need of updating and repairs. Rooms and bedding were clean enough although room very small. Free continental breakfast was a joke. Coffee and danish were set up in lobby on a card table! Website pics of rooms must have had a ton of touch up.
