Super friendly staff. Clean. Beautiful location. Close to restaurants. Maybe a little high in price for the off season. (January) but we would for sure go back!!! Would reccomend to friends & family!

A reasonable and comfortable stay. I could have done without the people pulling up and Blasting the music at midnight. Staff were incredibly courteous.

Love this motel!
I loved our stay. I wish I could have stayed longer. The staff is very friendly, the room was very comfortable, and I love the area. We will stay here again! Special thanks to the women in the office for being very helpful in letting us know good places to eat. I especially want to recognize how well the town has worked to recover after the early September hurricane. A pretty amazing community all working together.

Oldie but goodie.
Thie is a very old Motel. When was the last time you used a real key attached to a wooden fish? The staff is great! The room is large with two TV's. It is located in the center of town and is still very quiet. The entire town is recovering from a hurricane so many branches and the like all about, but the staff did a great job of clearing and opening the place.

We visited just a couple weeks after Hurricane Idalia and the grounds, room, and staff were all awesome! The area was still recovering, but we wouldn’t have known that based on the quality of our stay. We definitely plan to be back for a visit!

The cleanest hotel we have ever been. Better than any of the big business. Personnel very helpful and kind. Would be nice if they would include breakfast with the stay.

Okay place to stay by
We stayed for just one night , to take a break on our way south. The place is an old property . It is okay if you just plan to pass by. Room was clean , spacious and had everything needed although looks dated. There is a pool on site but we didn’t use it.

The staff were so helpful and kind. We really enjoyed staying here. Parking could be updated. But overall I would give this place four and a half stars. I would highly recommend this place.

Wonderful stay
Room was great for two people Appreciated the size of the fridge and having microwave. The grounds are well maintained and homey with flowers and some yard art. We spent a lot of time in the wonderful double swings, just relaxed. Everyone we encountered were friendly and helpful.

Look forward to my next stay
Smiling the entire time. The gorgeous ancient oaks, the river's beauty, happy staff a wonderful bed... great stay! First trip to the area and eager to go back. The main building is on a little rise which I liked. The swimming pool area was welcoming and had a lift for those who might need it. Many restaurants with awesome views...staff very helpful and clearly loved being part of this small community on a beautiful river.

We weren’t expecting such a sweet place. The rooms were updated and decorated nicely. The staff was more than ice, friendly, and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back for a longer visit.

Staff was so pleasant and accomodating. We needed a first floor room due to recent injury and they were able to accommodate. The two restaurants recommended were fantanstic! would definitely stay again.

Clean, quiet and nice.
We were there just one night, but the room was excellent. Nice and clean. The room was huge with 2 king beds and a couch. The bathroom looked newly remodeled. Staff were friendly and helpful. Area was nice and quiet. Would definitely stay again for our next fishing trip.

When you walk in the door, there is a sitting area with a medium size fridge and microwave, good water pressure, large shower head, comfortable bed, great price, nice pool, has a fire pit area and a picnic area. The marina is right across the street.

Bugged out
The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. But the hotel is not on the riverside, it is across the street. You cannot enjoy the pool or the outside amenities because of the BUG'S (No see um's). If your looking for a nice quiet place, this is it. If you like seafood, this is the town for you.

Hi Terry,Thanks for your review. We do have a cottage that is directly on the river if you'd like to stay riverfront. It even has a screened in back porch to help shield you from the no-seeums. Unfortunately once spring has sprung, so have the no seeums. Luckily they're not here year round. It's just a small price we pay to work and play in paradise. Thanks for staying with us!

Great older place in a fun out of the beaten path
We wanted to visit the town again on our trip back home after spending 6 weeks in SWFlorida so we booked this place. It is what you should expect for an older place in an out of the was destination. People were all great that we dealt with. Room was spotless. Be aware that the second floor requires a walk up steps. Nice outside pool that we did not use as it is unheated and it was cool Monday. There is a large picnik area the a grill and lots of tables. Outstanding place for a reasonable price. Wish we could have styex for a number of nights and fished.

Warm and Inviting
This was a no-frills motel - but the room was like a little cottage. Very warm, quiet, inviting, and comfortable. Directly across the street from the marina. I highly recommend this place.

The room was huge! Which is a good thing when you have grandchildren with you. Loved the outside areas. I sat at the pool reading. We built a fire in the fire pit. I would definitely go back to this place.

Oh my, if there was a fresher in your room we could have removed it right away. So sorry you had a trouble. Occasionally we set ambiance with scents but wouldn't want that to cause trouble.
