We expected chaos as we were staying during "eclipse" weekend. Instead, our room was quiet and clean on the side away from the highway. The beds were comfortable and all three of us slept well. I was thrilled to be assigned to a "non-smoking" room! I had no idea that in 2024 smoking in hotel/motel rooms was even still allowed. Smoking in public spaces has been banned in my state for nearly 20 years! I would not have been able to sleep in a smoker's room and would have ended up "sleeping" in the car. Be advised to request non-smoking if that is important to you. I don't recall seeing any information stating that detail when I reserved the room on Expedia.

Do not stay here!!
My wife and I booked this room because of her mom was in bad condition at the local hospital. As we got close to town we got a call saying she was in grave condition and was being transferred to a specialty hospital in Witchita Falls 45 min away. We called the hotel and the front desk lady said she would get a hold of the manager. We then stopped by and was told the manager would refund us and he would call Expedia the next day. Then got a email the next day saying it denied. Called the hotel spoke to manager and he could care less saying he never said he was going to do anything for us. Very rude very disrespectful and he didn’t care that we had a mother who passed. So no refund and more financial burden. This property only cares about money. Do not stay here. I am in shock of how they treated us in our circumstances. They have no heart no empathy no emotions. I highly recommend avoiding this business.

This motel was a little intimidating at first. The outside is very run down and you check in at a window ( lady was nice though), not inside a lobby like our usual places. However, we only stayed one night and the inside of the room was nice and clean. I was concerned with safety but all ended up being fine, no issues.

The lady that checked us in was very very nice. The room was old but that wasn’t the issue. The carpet was dirty, the towels were either dirty or just really stained, not sure which one but they were gross. The room smelled like cigarette smoke and mildew. The bed was so uncomfortable. But again the lady that check us in was really nice.

Dont stay in room 106. Seemed clean but the smell is ungodly. Somewhere between a dead body and a mold infestation. How hard is it to have a decent place for a tired traveler to stay?

Surprised this was on hotels.com
This was an old motel with outside check in and a sketchy feel. Came in late while traveling alone and was put on the back side away from main road where a bunch of guests were drinking outside near what appeared to be a permanent construction dumpster. Did not feel safe. Mattress old and stained. Room smelled. Surprised to even find it on the site.

Comfortable motel
My room was very quiet, bed and pillows were very comfortable. Motel is right next to 287 but my room was on the opposite side. I liked parking just outside my door. Lots of grassy area to walk my dog. Unfortunately it was grasshopper season. There were a dozen dead or dying grasshoppers on the floor. Despite that I would stay here again, just not during grasshopper season.

This place is just meh for us. There is not a breakfast here and the swimming pool has been cemented over, so no, it does not have a pool. The room was clean but had a strange smell to it. We got what we needed for this trip but won’t stay here again.

Inexpensive but a good place to rest.
It was easy to find. The place is not fancy but is clean and comfortable. One worker directed us to a better parking place and brought us an extra blanket.

The place is really old and outdated. The staff at the desk was really friendly but the place didn’t look the same as the photos on the app. Very deceiving. I would have rather booked at a different location.

Hotel. Com website states there is a breakfast included with your stay. However, this is not the case and we were told they do not have a food license and do not provide breakfast. If I had known that upfront, I would not have booked this hotel.

My worst ever check in. At 7 office check in is thru a small window. I was exhausted after a long day. The man was not going to let me stay or refund me because of my 2 service dogs. Finally he gave in threatening to charge me if anything was damaged. The website does not list only one dog , nor does the owner/ manger have an ounce of kindness to gréât and treat an elderly woman in this manner. I Traveling across country and never have I been treated so rudely
