Late Summer get awayPosted Sep 12, 2015
Pros: The room was large and nicely appointed. Good location. Families would love staying here.
Cons: My big complaint with anyy hhoel iss the fact thy have i sstalled such low to the floor toilets. Would also like to see more walk in showers.
Location: Great location, restaurants within wealking distances. Great walk way near the beach with plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the view.
Hotel staff very pleasant and helpful. Room had a microwave and fridge pluse dishes. If you were a summer visitor this would greatly make things easier with young children. Being ablle to make brakfast in the room would be great.

Not Family Friendly. Location fine.Posted Aug 20, 2015
Pros: The kitchen in the room was useful, as it should be.
Cons: Customer service is terrible. Cleaners were very helpful and sympathetic but hands tied by their ignorant management.
Location: Location is fine, but every hotel at Harrison is on the same beach esplanade. There is nothing special about this hotel or it's location. Incidental
Room location was terrible, no balcony and "mouintain view" is really a parking lot view. Sofa bed is an old steel model and not suited for a "junior suite". There are much better models now that aren't dangerous or uncomfortable. Rude, insulting, and argumentative Manager named Tara. Insulting saying a 21 month old should sleep in the sofa bed (yes, she said this) when they sofa bed is metal, unacceptably noisy, with wire handles around the base (required to pull such a heave metal bed out) that almost cut my child when she climbed off the bed. I had to stop her. When I stated I booked a room for 3 adults and one child under two, assuming there was a reason to ask the question...like providing a proper bed. Her initial response was to yell at me and say it wouldn't be included. Obviously from someone who has well over 2500 hotel night stays across the globe, I found this shocking to say the least. The crib they sent up with miniscule, all cheap metal bars, and the argument and fighting was over $10 a night. Pathetic customer service. To top it off, the rude service desk girl, told me I should have brought some sort of portable bed for the child....yeah....on a flight from Bangkok, through Hong Kong, to Vancouver and a drive up to Harrison....are these people totally clueless or what? I won't even get into the response I got in email when Expedia asked me to fill out of survey of my check in. Would never stay at this place again.

What a big, newly furnished room with a view!Posted Aug 14, 2015
Pros: Size of room, condition like new, quiet, great view.
Location: Walk about the village, visit the little hot springs, enjoy the lake.
We just got to stay one night in this fabulous hotel en route to a family get together but it was one of the best nights of our holiday. The hotel is like brand new, quiet, cool and our room was huge...411...The front desk help was courteous and the little village a fun place to walk about and enjoy the view. Even the hot springs were fun to go see although just a little super hot bubbly to a natural pool.

Nice hotel close to the beachPosted Aug 9, 2015
Pros: Facilities and pleasant and reasonable.
Cons: Hot tub area was too noisy at night disturbing those rooms that face that direction though most nights it was quieter after 11pm.
Location: In the middle of the village and surrounded by plenty of places to eat, most of which were very good in general.
Good size room with king bed and kitchenette facing the mountain. Very close to the beach and the center of the village with plenty of access to places to eat.

The best place to stay at Harrison!Posted Jul 3, 2015 on Hotels
We love this hotel! We stayed there recently to celebrate our 30th Anniversary and were pleasantly treated to a box of Lindt chocolates, courtesy of the Hotel! The staff are great; ready, willing, and available to make sure your stay is the best! I tell all my friends and relatives about Harrison Beach Hotel, and can't say enough good things about it. The rooms are beautiful, quiet, and very well looked after. Thank you, Tara, for your professionalism. It's the best place to stay at Harrison!
