Nice little place in a perfect spot !Posted Mar 12, 2018
Pros: It's a great location, walking distance to lots of the downtown things and events and also close to some metro stations should u wanna get out further
Cons: The continental breatkast was very limited, hard boiled eggs, cereal , bread and croissants. Not a deal breaker but a heads up.
Location: The hotel is walking distance from the main downtown malls, the place des arts theatre and even a movie theatre so very good spot.
We were looking for something near downtown and not too expensive and this was perfect! The room was very nice and comfy with everything we needed. The staff was friendly and helped anytime we had questions about things. It's definitely somewhere I'd use again if we're ever in Montreal again.

Nice Hotel Excellent LocationPosted Mar 1, 2018
Pros: see above
Cons: Have a seat to use the computer available in the main lobby.
Location: see first comment above.
My stay was very pleasant. I was positively impressed about the location of this hotel. Being across from Complex Desjardin, I could easily access food, entertainment, shopping areas, etc. There is a subway station just two blocks away and Old Montreal is at a hand reach too. And even though I did not have time to visit it, I knew that Chinatown was right behind the hotel. My room was small but clean and quiet. Continental breakfast was fairly substantial. And the staff was very professional and helpful.

Ideal hotel for a quick getawayPosted Feb 23, 2018
Pros: Convenience, location, and basic amenities
Cons: More diverse breakfast selection and friendlier staff.
Location: Contemporary Art Museum of Montreal, many restaurants, Biodome and Olympic Stadium, Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal.
Hotel Travelodge provided the basic amenities for our quick 3-day trip to Montreal. It was close to the main subways lines and had many entertainment and food options that were of walkable distances. The staff were relatively friendly, although sometimes a quick smile here and there couldn't have hurt. The room itself was slightly smaller than we had anticipated, however it did the job and was clean. The only issue we had in this regard was that the hotel staff did not come to clean our room one of the nights. When we called to tell them that, they responded by sending up a few towels but no cleaning staff. Breakfast was slightly disappointing as the options were limiting, but since it was included in the price, there is not much we could complain about. There are many breakfast/brunch restaurants close by if you'd prefer a more diverse breakfast selection. Overall, it wasn't the best hotel we'd ever been to but it was sufficient, clean, and ideal for our quick trip.

In Chinatown and close to old montrealPosted Feb 19, 2018
Pros: A plus with this hotel is its proximity to old Montreal 10-15 minute walk.
Cons: The complimentary breakfast could include more meats and fruits.
Location: Visit Chinatown which is directly behind the hotel plus 1/2 block. Continue on in the same direction for old Montreal.
Hotel was good and so was parking which we were fortunate in getting as availability was on a first come first served basis. Chinatown is literally at your door step and old Montreal is about a 10-15 minute walk. A couple of decent eateries nearby.

Not to bad good locationPosted Feb 17, 2018
Rooms are small but clean(old carpet in the elevator was a bit smelly) staff was friendly and helpful.. It's an old hotel it's no 4 star but quite fine for the price.Parking is 22$ extras and they don't have a hole lot of parking. If there parking is full they will set you up at one of the other secure parking in the area a little inconvenient. The entrance is a bit hidden I missed it the first time around. Overall acceptable
