Nice location, everything prohibited
Good location in center with parking, clean, but limited working hours of reception -we adviced our arrival a bit later coming from another city,reception was empty 5 minutes earlier, we rang, no answer, we rang again, a women almost shouted unfriendly that we dont need to ring more times, but we were worried nobody was there. Welcome should be warmer. Room has many restrictions, we didnt even take shower afraid something might happen to towels etc. Its normal things get dirty in hotel, a bit, but here all is prohibited. Bathroom is very small, hard to move in shower.

Little gem
We had a great time in Chiaggio. Hotel view was great from our 5th floor suite. Mike the owner was a gracious host. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Would stsy again if in the area.

Very basic hotel
Very basic hotel not very comfortable room. The room looked onto the back not a very pleasant view. No lift, no breakfast, no kettle in room no machine for hot drinks in the morning. No restaurant or bar in the hotel. The upstair rooms were very noisy. There is a bar not too far for coffee. Would be a great idea if they provided a kettle for morning coffee or tea.

Lovely setting
Beautiful place to stay and lovely setting but the room let it down. We paid for the most expensive room and were disappointed in it. Bin wasn't emptied, room wasn't very clean and no housekeeping at all on one of the days of our stay. Very helpful host though telling us the best places to visit.

Fantastic Value for central location
Basic hotel but excellent value. Walking distance to ferry for Venice (20euro) for 24h pass for all ferry and waterbuses. Resturants only short walks away.

Caldin's - a good find.
Caldin's was a last-minute find on line. Apparently, only one star but it fit the bill for us. Clean, great price, free parking, helpful people and best of all, the location.

Great place to see Chioggia
We loved Chioggia! It's a bit of Venice without throngs of tourists, endless souvenir shops, and inflated prices. The room was clean, tastefully decorated, and they had the only insect screens we saw in 3 weeks touring the region. (The mosquitos ate us alive in Venice a couple of weeks earlier.) We were totally happy with Caldin's and would stay there again.

Bicycle friendly
Cheap, clean and conveniently located overlooking a canal in the older part of town. As cyclists we appreciated there being secure storage for our bikes without additional charge and there being a bike shop right next door

Right in the heart of old Chioggia
This is a great place to stay to explore old Chioggia. Our room was a good size, it was very secure, and had been well thought out to facilitate a comfortable stay. The staff were really helpful. All the sights of the old town were in easy strolling distance. It was good value too. There is a flight of stairs but they are wide and not too steep. I would definitely recommend this Hotel.

Hotel adeguato alla tipologia rappresentata. Proprietario gentilissimo e prodigo di attenzioni. Consiglierei, vista la stagione (inizi febbraio c.a.) di incrementare un po il riscaldamento.

Ottima posizione con una bella vista sul canale. La camera è molto ordinata e pulita ed il personale veramente gentile e disponibile. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

Come già altre recensioni hanno scritto la struttura necessita di una rinfrescata. Io ho soggiornato nella singola. Il water si trova all’interno della doccia, ciò rende la doccia (o il water?) inutilizzabile. Ok per una notte se siete di passaggio. Aria condizionata ok.

Geen hotel maar gasthuis
Kamers zijn gedateerd en zeker aan een opknapbeurt toe( oud meubilair en kapotte muren )toilet staat in het douche gedeelte wat niet prettig is Eigenlijk is het gewoon een gasthuis met je eigen kamer en toilet voorziening Ook is er geen sociale ruimte, denk aan ontvangstruimte met een barretje of iets dergelijks Wel kreeg je een ontheffingskaart voor je auto waarmee je op een aangegeven punt je auto kon parkeren

Ma lei è venuto qui per dormire o per fare il critico? Ha trovato un ambiente pulito con servizi privati, climatizzatore, wifi, frigo, tv, cassaforte e parcheggio gratuito per 74? E allora di cosa si lamenta? Vuole trovare il lounge bar? sala ristorante? sala ricevimenti? sala riunioni? sala massaggi? solarium? piscina? garage interrato? Allora paghi 300 e vada al Grand Hotel****

Edificio un po datato, ma la posizione è ottimale, peccato per la colazione che per il prezzo pagato dovrebbe essere compresa, consiglio, come in altri hotel o b&b dove sono stata, se non è possibile nell'hotel, accordarsi con un bar nei dintorni.

La posizione è strategica e ho avuto il posto auto. Il prezzo è onesto, cosa rara di questi tempi. Pulizia ok. Non è ben insonorizzato, qualche dettaglio non funziona bene (frigorifero) e bisogna sapersi un po' adattare ma tirando le somme lo consiglio a chi come me non ha troppe pretese.

SCONSIGLIO VIVAMENTE!!!! nel sito è indicata presenza di aria condizionata, in realtà non è funzionante. in camera c’erano 32 gradi e il proprietario totalmente consapevole e maleducato mi sfotteva dicendomi che potevo andarmene quando volevo senza la restituzione della cifra anticipatamente pagata.

Bien situé mais beaucoup beaucoup trop bruyant !!!
emplacement de l'hotel très bien situé mais la chambre proposée avait sur le balcon le groupe de climatisation pour tout l'étage. Impossible de dormir sans boules quies. Cette chambre n'est digne que d'un local technique ! Lorsque l'on signale cela à l'hôtelier , attitude méprisante de sa part.

3 jours au Caldin's... Horrible
Nous sommes arrivés le 31 Juillet 2019 (2 adultes et 2 enfants) dans la plage horaire indiquée par l hôtel. L accueil était mitigé. Nous avons eu l impression de déranger le gérant. Au 2e jour, à chaque renseignement demandé auprès de cette même personne, la courtoisie s en est allée, l impolitesse s est installée , et pour finir des propos et réactions non respectueuses envers nous. Nous avons été grandement étonné et choqués. Nous avons quand même débourser 300e pour les 3 nuits passées. En revanche, l hotel est bien situé même si un réfection totale est à realiser sans plus attendre. En résumé, nous le deconseillons très fortement. Cette personne nous a laisser un goût très amer.....
