We stayed one night here and will start with the negatives - to be honest we had trouble sleeping with the hum of the fridge and would be great to have one more pillow. The area outside and other guests were quiet so this was good. The shower was freezing. The terrace roof was not accessible (so false advertising as it looks like accessible yo all room) Positives - helpful staff, high cleaning standards and hand sanitiser readily available. Fantastic location and microwave in the reception very helpful. The room was cool enough and we didn’t need the aircon. Despite the noise, we were grateful to have a fridge.

Agradecemos sus comentarios, con respecto a las terrazas hay dos disponibles para los huespedes en la planta baja, despues hay habitaciones con terrazas privadas, no entendemos cual ha sido su confusion. Con respecto a las almohadas puede solicitar una extra en recepcion. Agradecemos su interes y nos alegraria volver a recibirla en otra ocasion, un cordial saludo

Hostal El Faro; an eccentric bachelor uncle
On the plus side: very helpful and attentive staff, a very clean suite, a very good location. On the quirky side: a building that has not seen upgrades since it was built in the 1950s (judging by the glossy mahogany doors and hardware). Consequently, no one has thought to install a toilet paper holder in proximity to the toilet. The toilet itself is barely accessible as it was placed right up against one of the exterior walls. Also, the shower curtains were installed well within an undersized tub, causing the curtain to "lick" every person trying to shower. Downright astonishing: this is the very first hotel we have ever stayed at where we have not been tempted to swipe the soap. My kids came up with several lurid olfactory descriptors that I will not repeat here. Location: a two minute walk from the beach. This hotel also captures ocean breezes, cooling our suite at night (a big plus if you're from a northern climate). Being so close to the beach, it is also on the circuit frequented by kids in cars with stereos going thumpa thumpa well into the morning hours. There's no escaping Ricky Martin... Great food and coffee in close proximity but there's not much else to do as Chipiona is a dedicated beach destination. It's a great place to work on a very deep tan (or burn). The beach itself is fabulous.

"Mini habitación en una vieja cochera".
La habitación se veía, limpia y ordenada. Pero todo en un espacio muy reducido, lo cuál incomodaba cualquier movimiento tanto en la habitación como en el baño. También había muy poca luz natural.

Alojamiento familiar, bien situado, tranquilo y muy cercano a playas. El trato de las personas que lo atienden es amistoso e inmejorable. El desayuno que ofrecen es muy completo. Las habitaciones son confortables y perfectamente dotadas, con aire acondicionado, ventilador con lámpara en el techo, nevera, TV, secador de pelo, etc..., Todo funcionando perfectamente. Muy buena la limpieza diaria. La cama en perfecto estado. Hay aparcamiento fácil en las inmediaciones y en el hotel a precio moderado. Hemos quedado muy satisfechos y pensamos repetir.

Ein schnuckeliges kleines Hotel ziemlich nah zum Stand in in direkter Nähe zum Leuchtturm. Auch das kleine Zentrum ist zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Wir hatten ein tolles Zimmer mit Zugang zur Dachterrasse. Allerdings haben nicht alle Zimmer Balkone - bei der Buchung berücksichtigen! Frühstück war minimalistisch, aber o.k. Die Leute im Hotel waren sehr nett.

Das Hostal liegt sehr zentral. Es ist hübsch gemacht und hat eine familiäre Atmosphäre. Das Frühstück war gut und es gab Parkraum direkt am Haus

We spent one night at Hostal El Faro. At our arrival the receptionist was extremely helpful with everything from the room arrangements to parking arrangements to helpful hints for where to have dinner/breakfast and places to visit and see. If you have pet allergies avoid this hostal but if not, the hostal dog Tomi will be your best friend!! The interior of the hostal was beautiful, the ceiling in the rooms in this old building was really high which was cool and different from the modern buildings. The place was also all around very clean and well kept.

Descanso y Relax
La estancia en Hostal El Faro ha sido una experiencia maravillosa. Gracias al hostal y a su personal hemos podido descansar y disfrutar de un fin de semana para el recuerdo. La limpieza en general, el servicio y la ubicación del hostal en el pueblo han sido excelentes y un autentico motivo para volver a hospedarnos allí en la próxima ocasión.

Het is goed voor enkele dagen te verblijven
De kamers zijn piepklein maar heel netjes,goed voor toeristen die heel de tijd buiten blijven.De eigenaar is supervriendelijk en heel behulpzaam.Voor fietsers is het een aanrader.

6 qm grosses zimmer im Keller für zwei personen. Feucht klamm kalt. Vorsicht Bettwanzen ! Nach Beschwerde sagte man uns Das wäre nun mal das normale zimmer aber für 20 Euro mehr würden wir ein größeres bekommen. Abzocke

Hostal bonito junto al faro.
El Hostal es bonito por dentro y por fuera, está bien situado junto al faro. La habitación está bien con un baño completo, mini nevera y tv, la cama me pareció muy cómoda y todo tenía aspecto de estar limpio. La calefacción de la habitación no funcionaba bien y pasé frio durante el tiempo que estuve en ella. El desayuno era pan tostado, mantequilla y mermelada y café, magdalenas, galletas y zumo de naranja, creo que es caro cobrar 5.50 € por ese desayuno pero es opcional así que nadie te obliga a cogerlo. La verdad es que lo bueno supera a lo malo y es una muy buena opción para dormir en Chipiona a buen precio.
