Happy couple- happy dog

Pros: The bar and the Sunday lunch
Cons: No least favourites
Location: Very rural
We were looking for a place in the Cotswolds which was dog friendly. This hotel ticked all the boxes. To cap it off , we had a pub quiz on the Sunday night - magnificent

Disappointing visit

Staff not very welcoming or forthcoming with information. The place could do with a good thorough clean. The food was quite nice.

Dirty, noisy and significantly over-priced

Posted Feb 23, 2013 on Hotels
The building from the outside is stunning. Sadly the rooms were dirty, un-modernised and shambolic. The traffic noise from the room was very loud (I imagine the outside of the building is listed, so insulating the sound must be difficult). There was no excuse for the dust and filth however. This place might get away with charging cheap B&B rates, but not the rate I paid. I would never stay again and would advise you to avoid it.
