"Japanese style rooms"
This hotel has Japanese style rooms which are hard to find in Tokyo at this price. The location is good near the subway but away from the heart of the busy tourist areas. The rooms have views which is also rare in this price category.

"Nice Hotel great Location"
The Hotel is very nice and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast buffet was very nice but very expensive. I wish I knew to include the breakfast in the price of the room. The location is right by the JR Line just a short walk. I would recommend The Hotel Niwa to my friends and family.

"Great cheap Tokyo hotel!"
It was our first night in Tokyo, we stayed at this hotel which we booked in advanced and weren't disappointed. It is not fancy but it is the definition of convenience. The Tokyu Stay franchise has a washer/dryer in the hotel room, the bathroom is pretty good and the location is great. Suidobashi is pretty centrally located, and this hotel is only 1-2 km away from Tokyo Dome City Attractions. The room isn't that big, don't try to fit more than 2 people.

"Centrally located yet quiet"
As with the other reviews the service is impeccable. I have stayed in many a 5 star around the world but never had such attentive service. The reception might not seem as grand as the name or history of this hotel implies but it is huge, shiny and very smart. I only say this because of other reviews. It wasn't an issue for me. The hotel rooms are not styled in a modern way but more from colonial days but nothing faded everything was super smart. The hotel bathrooms are great, modern, the shower and bath superb. The room sizes are comfortable and spotlessly clean. I loved the white pyjamas provided. The hotel is conveniently positioned for strolling, for trains, a walk in the park across the road and those delightful restaurants under the arches along the trainline to Tokyo station. Try the Japanese interpretation of italian. Food is to die for.

"Excellent location. "
Adjacent to north entrance of main Tokyo JR Station. Very handy for both local subway and bullet trains. Also many restaurants and other services. Hotel is in large building with Libby on the 27th floor and rooms above that so gray city views from your room. Rooms are small, but smartly decorated and appointed. Great stay and great deal with Expedia airfare combo.

"Good"
I'm satisfied with the hotel .. Except for it is little hard to find for people who go there for first time cause there are no sign or no direction guide to the hotel. From hotel to subway or train station is quite easy if u can remember how to walk ..

"Close to train station, restaurants."
If you have never stayed at a capsule hotel, don't expect luxury. It is a place to crash after a hard day's work (or travel). If you are a light sleeper, a capsule hotel as such is not a great idea. Noise levels depend on who your neighbors are, not the hotel, but usually it's quiet enough. The place has got a real Gung Ho feel to it and the electronic control board made me nostalgic for the 80s. I like to call it City Camping, as the capsule is a bit bigger than a 1 man tent, more than enough if you just want a place to sleep. Overall - Recommended
