"Excellent room, facilities, service and location"
The room was excellent, very clean and the bed was comfortable. The Wi-Fi was what you can expect in a country like Japan (65Mbps download and 35Mbps upload, which I measured with Speedtest.net) The hotel staff were extremely polite and helpful, the receptionists can speak good English, which unfortunately you cannot say the same in other places in Tokyo. Tokyo is a place that every human being should visit at least once it his/her lifetime..it is that impressive!!! It is very clean, safe, the public services just work like they should, the food is just fantastic, it is cheaper than the UK (Specially compared with London or any major UK city). e.g. the underground, the food, train tickets, etc. The only thing I regret is that I did not have the time to visit all the places I wanted to. Plan your trip and places to visit beforehand, otherwise you will be paralysed by the numerous options you have available. June and July are not the best months to visit Tokyo as it rains pretty much everyday..but everything is beautifully green though.

"Nice and comfortable room. Very friendly staff"
Hotel staff were all very helpful and friendly, from the front desk to the doorman. They genuinely make all their best efforts to make your stay as much comfortable as possible. Communication was never a problem as all of them speak very good English. Room was very nice, and very relaxing, location is very convenient next to metro and close to the shopping area of Ginza. I would definitely stay again here in my next trip in Tokyo.

"Very comfortable hotel, great for families."
We found the staff extremely polite and very accommodating. The restaurants we went to were fabulous. The pool was small but very nice, and my 6-year-old son and I had a fun time. The gardens are spectacular. Skip the Capri bar. The only problem we had was that our air con in our room wouldn't get the room cold enough, and for at least two nights we couldn't sleep well. After we complained about it, it only took 20 minutes before they came to the room to change a filter. They brought us a fan and also offered a new room. The fan worked well and we decided to keep the room.

"Close to Metro, comfortable stay"
We stayed at the Metropolitan Edmont for 9 days for a conference and for some sightseeing time in Tokyo. The room was tiny (you really don't have room for much more than your carry-on luggage!) but squeaky clean and nicely appointed. Air conditioning worked well, which was needed since we were there during a record-breaking heat wave. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the Metro station Iidabashi, so it's great for access to the rest of Tokyo. We paid the rate with breakfast included, and the buffet for breakfast was plentiful with both Japanese and Western options. There are several restaurants in the hotel as well as the breakfast buffet room (which features a dinner buffet at night), but we only tried the Chinese restaurant, which was over-priced and not very good. Luckily, across the courtyard from the hotel is a 3 story building with about a dozen eateries--a ramen house, a Korean barbeque place, another noodle shop, a pretty good Chinese restaurant, an upscale Japanese place, and an Indian restaurant, among others. Much cheaper options that the hotel dinners. Also, you can find an ATM that works for foreign cards in the 7-11 there. All things considered, Iidabashi isn't a charming part of Tokyo, but it's quiet and convenient.
