I have 2 complaints about the hotel. The pool was empty the whole time I was tr here and I didn't see anyone working on it. the 2nd complaint was about the room a/c. Some days it worked well, most of the time it was half assed. The first time I complained about it, they sent a repair man up right away to repair it and did. The next time they sent a maid up to open the window. Not a good fix. traffic noise, humidity and crappy air quality made it worse. The rooms are clean, a good size, comfortable bed, maid service excellent. dispite the a/c issue, well worth the stay.

Le Meridian Chongqing - dislike!

It was awful. I'll never stay in this hotel again. Right after check in something happened to the power in the hotel and apparently affected the AC for the entire building. And, it was unusually warm during my stay, as a result I was how (room was 27.5C!) hot the entire time and got little sleep. They even changed my room, but that didn't help at all.

Average stay for 4/5 star hotel

The overall stay was okay but for Le Meridien we expected more. Although there was a free cup of coffee that could be redeemed in the coffee shop on the ground floor, there was none in the room that we could make ourselves. That was a little inconvenient. The breakfast food was a complete disappointment. We arrived at 10am (closes at 10.30am) so we weren't really late but all the food was dry and what seemed like leftovers. Finally for a 4-5 star hotel, the staff spoke very poor English. Calling the operator from the room was hard as they didn't speak much English. The room itself was fine and the hotel was clean but the food and amenities in the room, plus the lack of English were disappointing.

Great place to stay

Good stay in a lovely hotel. The hotel is of a high standard and the modern room I stayed in was really nice. Reasonable gym and nice pool, although they make you wear a silly cap! I didn't have breakfast but lunch was very nice, although quite expensive for China. Location is good, with shops very nearby and a Starbucks around the corner! Free internet and a movie channel on the tv with English Speaking movies also free. Overall a nice stay in a high quality, great hotel at a great price.

Great hotel, superlative location.

Pros: I guess that I answered this question already. Best of all, we liked location, value, service and the artistic atmosphere. Multilingual plus.
Cons: Please don't change anything. We love you just the way you are.
Location: Near to the CBD, there is no limit to the things to do. The desk issues brochures showing and describing in two languages the top 20 attractions.
We arrived late at night after a delayed flight and were met with an offer of a delayed checkout before our similarly-delayed cruise the following day. 4pm for no extra! How good is that? Right next door is a shopping district covering the highs and lows, everything that a traveller might want to buy was there. Especially, there are restaurants ranging from street vendors to top line - dozens of them. Of course, we only sampled two, but the competition keeps them up to the mark. My wife and I cannot fault this establishment. In closing, their rates were far below some of their competitors in the 4.5 to 5 star range.

It was very pleasant stay. I also recommend club floors to business travelers. The club lounge is more quiet for breakfast and also happy hour is great. The location is also very good. Next to a shooping mall.

全体的に高級感のあるホテルでかなりお勧めできる 日本だと倍以上の費用が掛かるレベルのホテルである ホテルロビーでも打ち合わせもしやすく、ビジネスでも使い勝手が良いのではないだろうか
