We would like to say a special thank you to front desk staff 何玉霞,she was very caring, listening to people, treating people with respect and proactive to situation. 何玉霞 took the time to solve the problem we had encountered. Each time when we saw her at the front desk we felt good.
The second staff we would like to say thank you was the house keeping lady. She was also very caring and helpfull to us while my husband was not well. We left her a small tips in the room as a token of appreciation but she did not take it. She was the first house keeping lady who would not take the tips.
We know this hotel is not a five stars hotel but the staff could make a big difference. Thank you.

Handy to good shopping
Whilst the room serviced daily but vacuuming and mopping was not evident and the need for multilingual reception staff is badly needed as was a hot breakfast

Disappointing!
After reading several favorable reviews and considering the reasonable price, I decided to book this hotel ignoring one review which stated that there are holes in the walls! I must have the same room (room #9008). The wall at the base of the closet, over the door in the bathroom were exposed to the concrete because tiles were missing. It made me feel uncomfortable thinking that critters may crawl into the room. The bathroom ventilation was not working and was not fixed after I complained to the front desk. Fixtures in the shower were grungy. Water also leaked out of the shower stall onto the bathroom floor which was unpleasant. Air-conditioning cannot be adjusted in individual rooms and was centrally set at 28 C which was a bit warm to our liking. Filter for air-return was filled with dust. Overall, I will not return to this hotel.
unfortunately the room was extra small with 2 beds which even u can not move .
no safe box , no iron , so you had to use the same un cleaned and no ironing cloths which you already had.
cleaning was not done carefully , just they make the sheet but not change also if you used the glass or your dish , no one will wash or change it and will leave it alone as it was.
The location was convenient for eating and going to different destinations. The hotel was good. The staff spoke a little English. Impt least they tried and appreciate the effort. The money was worth you paid for.
This hotel is ok, the only negative thing I must say is the staff needs to learn a little more English. At least learn some basic necessities that would be needed at breakfast. Like Sugar....... Yes I should know Chinese better. But a hotel that deals with international travelers should at least employ some help with limited English skills. The only advise I can give is to make sure your bring a good electronic translator...... BTW breakfast is good and lots if choices .....

good for price
very average Chinese hotel...hard beds, kind staff. They lost my reservation, but were good about figuring it out. Breakfast was free, but all Chinese food so good if you like noodles. It was fine and as it was half the price of other hotels, it was a good deal, but not luxurious.
This is a good area to stay in if you want access to the entire city because Daping offers better access to the various zones in the city than the central business district (esp. re public transit). This hotel is has a nice and new interior design but some bits didn't work so well (e.g. upside-down painting in bathroom and leaky shower). Nonetheless, I'd stay here again. You won't get better for the price in this city.
The hotel rooms were pretty clean and nice compared to some of the rooms in China. The hotel was a bit difficult to find and had to have the cab driver call them to locate...but otherwise it was a nice stay. Food downstairs was good, subway was a short walk away.

Staying at the Mishan。。。
It is a pleasant place to stay and staff tries very hard to make your stay enjoyable。The staff does struggle with English just as I struggle with Chinese。Numerous times I ha d to use my Google Translate on my iPad to convey to the staff information or requests. The location of the hotel is extremely difficult to find so I suggest that you always carry the hotel's phone number with you because the taxi drivers struggle to locate it.
we stayed there for 3 nights , the stay was quite pleasant but most of the appliances didn't work properly.
The room was quite dark. The breakfast buffet was OK. I guess the only drawback is that its staffs all of them can not understand English at all and had issued me wrong rooms but they tried really hard to help me out though.
But the guy in the front desk is not so friendly.
In my opinion I think It is a little far away from Dapling Station.

A mid-range hotel
The hotel was a little bit run down and a bit of a walk from the closest metro stops (especially in the sweltering heat of July) but the rooms were an ok size, as well as comfortable. Surprisingly quiet rooms and the bed was very comfy. The staff had very limited English (no English at all) but that is something to get used to in China. Taxi drivers really struggled to find this place but the hotel's proximity to one of the main roads in Chongqing made it an ideal place to stay. Air-conditioning kept the rooms and the lobby nicely cool even in the 40 degrees we experienced in the summer so the place felt like a haven after a long day in town. Calling the breakfast continental is a bit of an exaggeration (the only Western thing was toast and muesli) but the Chinese selection looked quite extensive. I would still leave the hotel breakfast and opt for something else in town. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.
It was my 2nd time to stay in this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, also the room was clean and comfortable. Only drawback in this hotel is the location which is unknown to most taxi drivers and the distance to Daping subway station. Otherwise it is really great value for money. I will stay again. //July 2013
The room was nice and clean and some of the staff spoke english. Daping line1 subway station about 10mins walk away, though no major shopping areas near the hotel area except little restaurants. Bus stop also just outside of the hotel. Location of the hotel unknown to nearly all of the taxi drivers.
