"Perfect location to visit Madrid"
The room was small but very clean and comfortable. The room was cleaned every day and the linen was changed. It is a Hostal and I would compare it to a guest house. It had double glazed window and automatic shutter. Great security. The beds were comfortable.

"2nd stay in a great little hotel"
This was my 2nd stay in this great little hotel and I will stay again next time I'm in Madrid. The room was immaculate and modern with an ensuite. The location was central yet the room was so quiet being set back, you couldn't hear any street noise. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast but this is fine by me as there are countless patisseries and cafés moments away and I'd rather have breakfast at a different cafe each morning. Thumbs up from me!

"party holiday to Madrid "
I went on a party holiday to Madrid with friends and we stayed at the hostel. It is in the centre of everything, walking distance from anything you could want in Madrid. The atmosphere was quality in the communal areas, the staff were helpful and friendly and the rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Overall a fantastic place to stay if your looking for a base from which to explore Madrid.

"Hotel has personality and style"
We selected the junior suite which is stocked with local bath products, good pressure on the water, and quality towels and robes. The living room couch was plush and expresso machine worked well. Fridge was stocked with our requested items on arrival. Bed had quality linens with a selection of pillows and adequate mattress support. Housekeeping was well done with nightly turn down service and interesting candies. Celicosa had the better breakfast with gluten free pastry, fresh squeezed orange juice and perfectly done omelets. We only ate at the other hotel breakfast restaurant once and found our eggs benedicts arrived ice cold but we were too rushed to get to a tour to send them back or launch a complaint. Both bars at the hotel are fantastic and are well run with terrific cocktails and wine. The location of the hotel is brilliant with everything you would want to visit within an easy 20 minute walk including the Palace, Plaza Mayor, Prado etc. There are tons of wonderful restaurants right outside the door. The décor is surprising and fun and worth stopping by for. Front desk is very friendly and will try to help you in any way they can.

"Central location, easy access to all main points."
The check-in office is at a different location than the apartment (we stayed at the Santa Barbara location), so if you have a late flight, make sure to make arrangements for check-in. Check-out is a breeze! The apartment was comfortable enough for 6 adults (2 on the sofa bed). It's not on a quiet street, so if that's important for you, take note of that. We were into the lively scene and didn't mind it. The apartment is modern, dimly lit, and aesthetically pleasing. It sits above a street food market, which is great! Other than some power outlets not working and the wifi being really weak, our stay was good. Can't beat the location.

"Ok hotel... location very good"
Hotel is fine and in good location. Small rooms and you can't control the air temperature in the room it is controlled centrally so was very warm, open windows adds tons of street noise. If you get a good price would be ok, but don't overpay for this hotel it isn't worth it.

"Fairly good value."
Madrid hotels aren't cheap. If you want cheap you won't get many frills. This Hostal is competitively priced in a good lively area , near to 2 metro stations and many of the places worth visiting - not to mention loads of tapas bars. However the walls are very thin. You'll be disturbed by noise inside and outside hostal throughout night -which is not a problem if you have sensibly visited local bars - open well into early hours. Ear plugs made all the difference.Xavier on desk very helpful. BTW Expedia price was £10 a night cheaper than nearest rival.
