“We stayed at Highland Glen Lodge on our last night in Alaska. We saved the best for last. There were so many perfect details in this home including, imported tea in our rooms, robes in our room, conversations with the owners, scrumptious breakfast, and beautiful views. It was perfect. ”

“We had to fly out of Anchorage the next day, but the last thing we wanted to do was end a wonderful Alaskan vacation in the middle of the city, so we stayed at Pioneer Ridge B&B and it was extraordinary. Setting and view were spectacular. Lots of eye candy all over the lodge, Our room was beautiful and very comfortable and the lemon blueberry pancakes in the morning are to die for. Thoroughly recommend this peaceful, beautiful stay.”

“Terribly expensive for the facilities. We had to lug our luggage up a rickety stair without any help on arrival. We had to take the train early and they did some very poor take out. We would not recommend it.”
