“They offer you candy when checking in. I must have looked at a different place to stay and accepted this one by mistake. Expedia had us wanting a smoking room? The room was clean but had a strange smell. It has only a space heater for heat. It is supposed to drop in the teens tonight. There is a unit in it that is supposed to be a heat/air conditioner that does not heat. Was charged $150.00 deposit incase we smoked in the room or for incidentals. Which we had no idea about! Which is……

“I booked a single queen room that Expedia says sleeps 3 meaning that they should have a sofa bed in the room. When we went in the room it only has a single queen but nothing else. The hotel says our accessible rooms are single queens only. So my only choice was to change rooms to a non-accessible double queen plus pay an $20.00 for the room.”

“The staff was friendly upon check in. They had even baked cookies as a welcoming gift, although we did not try them they looked tasty. The room was very clean-- the linens, bathtub and sink. The air-conditioner worked well. The bed was super comfy. The continental breakfast was great because there was a choice of about anything you would want. The TV was a nice size and worked well. We liked that it did not have carpeting because carpet is mostly a haven for dust and allergens. We don't have it……

“This was a lovely place to stay for a wedding related trip to Rogersville. It is conveniently located and has wonderful, historic charm. Our room “The Browns” was clean and very comfortable. The check in and check out procedure was easy and the Desk Clerk was very kind and accommodating. I highly recommend a stay here!”

“The hotel was small. It has a nice pool and hot tub. The breakfast was not so good. It has minimal breakfast selections. The air conditioner in the room was ok. 2nd floor ice maker and pop machine were broken. It was clean and they were trying to fix some stuff up.”
