"Relaxing stay. The cats were a great bonus. Breakfast included different traditional Montenegro food every morning. Staff was warm and made us feel welcome. The hot tub was clean and worked great. We spent 5 nights taking day excursions to Bosnia and Kotor old-town or just enjoying the room and hot tub. On the last two days I felt more relaxed than I've felt in the last 20 years. I would recommend this hotel for decompressing and being close to beautiful sites. "

"We had a great stay at Hotel Galia while exploring the beautiful country of Montenegro. The owners were very welcoming and friendly, the room was comfortable and the view of Kotor bay from the balcony was stunning! Dinner and breakfast were excellent and the service was great! We were there in the shoulder season (April) but the road to access the hotel was a little nerve racking at times as it’s a bit narrow and I wasn’t used to driving on the right but nevertheless it is perfectly manageable. Overall a great hotel to stay and I highly recommend! "

"Hotel was beautiful, the parking in the front was very convenient and free, although not guaranteed to be available during busier seasons, but I had no problem finding a spot each day. The grounds were beautiful and the scenery was as well. The staff were super kind and the ferragamo scented toiletries were so pleasant. I have no complaints. The homemade ice tea was some of the best ice tea I’ve ever had (mango my preference). Would definitely stay again"

"Friendly staff with brand new looking hotel. Only complain I have is the breakfast choices. They have an enclosed garage for parking, place is easy to access from Kotor. Good restaurant choices nearby."

"The owner James communicated incredibly well and gave excellent recommendations and advice. The comprehensive info pack was useful. Jadranka and Voja who live beneath the apartment were lovely. Jadranka cooked for us on our first night and her food is delicious. It was great to have homecooked traditional Montenegrin food. The location is relatively quiet (there is a rd running in front of it but it's not busy) and the views are unbelievable. You can see the mountains and bay from all of the windows at the front and side of the apartment...it's breaktaking. Parking was a little frustrating on a couple of occasions as there's no dedicated space. The apartment is massive and airy with high ceilings which we loved. Decor is very tasteful and we appreciated the artwork, lovely internal doors and exposed stone. There's loads of wardrobe space and plenty of hangers. The emperor sized beds are so comfortable. We missed having duvets as the beds were made up with a throw and a single sheet per person to place beneath the throw but that's just personal preference. The kitchen is well equipped with all that you need. The WiFi worked well throughout our stay. The big dining table was appreciated for mealtimes and playing card games. As soon as we walked into the apartment we immediately felt calm and at home. It has such a good feel about it.We'd recommend taking a motorboat tour with Seahorizon and dinner at Verige 65. We had such a brilliant stay and fell in love with Montenegro."

"This hotel was like a little apartment. I had my own kitchen, with dishes and cookware. a large bed and a nice bathroom. The hotel was quiet. And being right on the bay offered excellent views. They have a little area on the bat with chairs and tables where you could sit and have a drink or morning coffee. Downtown Kotor can get packed, but this area is not crowded. It had a couple small stores down the road with carried the basics. Theres a local bus that runs down the road in front of the hotel which is a bonus. You just wave at it and it will stop for you. You can pay cash. Its only a te minute ride to downtown. And on the way back they'll stop whereever you ask. This is a great hotel in a great location and I enjoyed my stay there."

"A warm welcome, the staff were so helpful and all aimed to please. Personally shown to your room, large impressive rooms and modern bathrooms. Nice relaxing breakfast and the evening food was impressive. Drinks available from the bar to take to the room. All in all comfortable and gorgeous decor."

"Apartment was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Julie the owner and the local mgt team were very responsive to any questions we had. Check in and out was seemless and the apartment is very unique with a gorgeous large balcony overlooking the lake. Three well appointed bedrooms and beds. And 2 full bathrooms was perfect for three friends traveling together. The road leading to the apartment was very stressful for me to drive it. It is very narrow and windy with blind corners.. on one side is the sea and the other side homes. It barely accommodates two cars, and of course the locals drive very fast. So that was the only bad thing for me but perhaps others have no problem. Other than that, I’d highly recommend and Next time we will stay longer."
