Super price for a Home Game!Posted Oct 4, 2015
Pros: Price, Convenience of having all the amenities (pool, hottub, restaurant, room service)
Cons: Bigger bathrooms (although it wasn't a problem)
Location: Sits up on a hill away from traffic and lights, couldn't find a liquor store that was close, EASY access to I-376 to go to Pittsburgh or the Turnpike.
Check-in was easy and convenient. They seemed well prepared for the rush of people coming to check-in for the game. Room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable! Difficulty getting the water to come out of shower head; maintenance guy was quick to respond. Problem was that you had to maneuver faucet plug and temperature controller at the same time. Once that was figered out, it was great. Huge pool with hot tub that was actually hot. Ate a quick meal in the restuarant; Very casual service to the point that some might find it rude. But the food was delicious! Hotel was off the beaten path which was nice (quiet!). Definitely would stay here again!

Conveniently located.Posted Oct 3, 2015
This property was just what we needed - comfortable beds at a convenient location at a good price. The property is a bit dated and it was a little noisy, but we were very pleased with what we got for the price. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel for business travlersPosted Sep 22, 2015
Pros: Hotel was right for the freeway, breakfast was nice, about 20 mins from Pittsburgh
Cons: When arriving at night the road leading up the hill to the hotel could use more lighting.
Location: There was a good amount of restaurants about 5 mins away. Also Pittsburgh was a quick 20 mins away (Unless its rush hour)
I was traveling with a co-worker for a business trip. The hotel was located close to the convention center in Monroeville. The check in and out went very smooth and the ladies at the counter are very nice. We arrived late at night and wished the road leading up the hill to the hotel was lite better. The pool/hot tub closes at 10:00pm and I wish it was open a little later to use it. It did look nice. The breakfast was nice in the morning. They had scrabble eggs, sausage, and a waffle station.

An Okay PlacePosted Sep 21, 2015
Pros: The location off Rodi Road was convenient for us, and the price worked into our budget.
Cons: The furnishings can use an updating and a carpet cleaning wouldn't hurt. The bathroom screams for a ventilation fan to vent steamy air out.
Location: The Monroeville Mall isn't far, and restaurants of all types are within a few driving minutes on 22. 376 gives easy access to the Frick & downtown PGH
The room was a suite with a bedroom, kitchenette with dining table, living room and bathroom, an arrangement that didn't seem to be the usual, as the rest of the rooms appeared different. The bathroom's counter space was sparse. The room was dim, as the windows were in the dining area and bedroom. The bedroom could have used a mirror for putting on cosmetics, etc, as the only mirror truly available for that was in the bathroom. Parking was ample and security seemed good. The entry door was thin, allowing hallway noise in. With over an inch of space on the door's bottom, cigarette smoke also came in. We blocked it with a towel. With all that, though, given the price and location, I would use this hotel again.

Ok for a cheap level hotelPosted Sep 19, 2015
Not what we hoped for in a hotel. The remodel is just new bedding and decor. The shower was old and grimy, and the carpet is very aged and dirty. It was ok for a low end hotel but for the price I expected more.

Really nice staff, comfortable bedsPosted Sep 19, 2015
The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and made sure our needs were met. Overall the room appeared clean but moving the fridge to change the temperature and dropping something under the bed I discovered that these areas hadn't been cleaned it what looked like years. I was still comfortable sleeping there and what needed to be clean was.

Low price, good for leisurePosted Sep 19, 2015
I stayed here with my wife and a dog. This is a pet friendly hotel (pet fee was $15). Close to Pittsburgh, 10 min drive to downtown. Very good for people who prioritize simplicity and convenience and don't care about cleanliness of the room. I saw a pile of dust at every corner of hallways. I was also concerned about the security because the hotel is just a two-story building and windows of the room are facing to the parking lot. Although there're security cameras here and there, I was not sure anyone was checking the monitor all the time. I think this hotel is very good for singles, groups of friends, families, but not for couples.

Overall, it was just okPosted Sep 19, 2015
Cons: Decor could use a major update, bathrooms are super tiny, very little space on vanity for much of anything.
Overall, it was ok, nothing memorable by any means, but served it's purpose...was visiting Carnegie Mellon and distance wasn't exactly convenient, but I'm not sure that any reasonably priced hotel to visit Carnegie Mellon would be convenient. Hotel was very dated, but it appeared clean and was comfortable...did not see nor eat the hot/cold breakfast, but was told the "hot" looked unappetizing, but I'm sure that can be rather relative. The staff accommodated our request for ground level room with sliding patio door (out to parking lot), so it was very convenient for packing/unpacking Don't think this would be choice accommodations if you are seeking ambiance.

Cons: the beds were too small. They seemed to be full size instead of a queen.
The staff and the area of the hotel was good. The rooms had a slight smell to it, and the beds were not queen size as originally requested. everything else was good.
