People were nice Room clean Price was not as described/ up charged me significantly. Breakfast was terrible- no one there to ask about food. Selection was poor. Yogurt was out of date, expired. Bathroom was very small and curtain was not clean at bottom. Had to ask for towels- 3 nights but no room service. It was a budget motel with premier prices. I am going to pursue the charge as $404 for one night in this hotel was way too much!!! Expedia did not list this increase to $400 on the website when I made the reservation.

The place is under construction - something that was not disclosed at the time of booking. The lobby was filthy and the whole place reeked of cigarette smoke. Awful.

I have stayed here two other times and it was fine. This time it was unbelievably terrible. There was construction going on throughout the hotel which I was not made aware of prior to arrival. The lobby and "dining area" were extremely dusty, dirty, wires hanging from the ceiling. I can not believe they actually had food served in an active construction area. My room was also dirty. The towels and lower half of the shower curtain were yellow. The halls smelled of cigarette smoke. I am not sure what regulatory body governs hotels but if they saw the condition of the hotel and that guests were staying there they would probably shut it down.

Room was a mess. Shower didn’t work. Told front desk and they never came to check. Went down and told them a second time and was assured I’d be able to shower. Never was able to. Horrible inconvenience for 3 days. Will never stay again.

The entire property is under construction (had no idea). The one elevator, entire 2nd floor & room smell of bad Asian food. Carpet is stained and safety lock broken. TV is crooked on wall. Very run down.

There isn’t good intermediate choices of hotels in this town. Out of those limited choices, I think this hotel’s building including pool area has good potential, but the building is under renovation as of Feb ‘24. An employee explained it will be completed in a month. If construction is fully finished and cleaner, it would be better.

The heater did not work, it was blowing cold air. We moved rooms easily through staff but the room we moved to had white crumbs on floor, maybe paint and tub was terribly chipped? The breakfast was good and area clean. I felt like the people I noticed staying there were probably semi homeless which I understand need places to stay but it definitely was not worth the price I paid. The staff was respectful and nice.

This was absolutely my worst hotel experience in decades! The room was disgusting. It was hot and smelled like chlorine. Jacuzzi didnt work properly and even if it did you coukdnt see the TV because of a giant beam in the middle of the room. The bed was stiff and the sheets were not comfortable. The pillows were the one saving grace. The carpet was disgusting. There were cobwebs on the bathroom air return. The entire vibe of the room was outdated and just gross. Way too much money for the quality of the stay. The breakfast was a joke also. The food looked gross and fresh coffee was not available. The check out was equally frustrating. The receptionist barely spoke English. She couldnt print a receipt for my stay which I needed to be reimburses. Very disappointing.

Check in people not friendly. Room keys not programmed correctly. Lights coming off elevator were obnoxiously bright. No window coverings on hall windows with outdoor light shining directly through. Door to room didn’t close properly. Breakfast food looked disgusting. I travel to this area twice a month & will not stay here again. Would rather stay further away & have to drive to Oxford.

Dirtiest Hotel Ever
Carpet in the room had multiple stains, bed was kind of made but it was questionable whether sheets were changed and hallways in the hotel had a strong urine smell throughout. Will definitely not be staying here again.

Awful quality and felt ripped off!
Hotel was very disappointing and the service through hotels.com was a rip off. Visiting a friend this past Saturday- it was the top hotel available for the weekend and paid $250+ and i just looked it up again to see how ut was rated since the quality was so poor and its rated at 7.8 and $59/room. the quality, cleanliness was just room- everything was outdated- our bathroom was t even painted, furniture old, garbage behind the nightstands that were pulled a foot away from the wall, carpet had rips... and most disappointing at all was that we paid $250 for a room that is clearly valued at $59, probably cause it was the weekend and prices jacked up... so felt ripped off.

I made a mistake with my reservation and the desk staff was so helpful and reassuring that my room would be there and ready when we arrived. They handled my concerns so well. paint splatter and bathroom issues
The smell in the hotel was less desirable. The room had paint splatter. The tub had hair in it. There was pubic hair on the ground in the corner of the bathroom. A commercial grade metal staple on the floor in the bathroom. The sink in the main area as it is not in the same room as tub and toilet was dirty. Smelt gross in room. Carpet paint splatter lights had paint splatter. For the amount paid this is disgusting.

Very convenient for a visit to MU campus but was disappointed by the cost and what you got. The breakfast was much poorer than any I have seen around campus (even the smaller hotels) and they did not even service the room when you stayed more than one night. I understood the property was old and they were doing the best they could but if you charge high prices than all the other controllable things should be very well done...breakfast should have been a bit above the norm...not below...tea and coffee even a few cookies or treats or popcorn at night are easy to offer - even if not taken they say we know you are paying more and we care to make your stay the best it can be..not turning up the sheets and putting pillow back with more soap when you pay over 300.00 is not acceptable.

Shower had no drain plug and did not drain, so you showered in 3 to 4 inches of water. The door didn’t close unless it was pushed closed. The secure lock didn’t work. The air condition could not be controlled by the thermostat in the room b/c it was busted. For the price I paid this hotel is not worth it.
