Updated, clean hotel with friendly, helpful staff

First impression: Front desk attendant was very friendly and super helpful! When we got to our room, after check-in, my daughter noticed the wi-fi wasn't working. A call to the front desk brought the attendant to our room to help. We think the problem was attributed to our location at the top corner of the building. However, since this location is my personal preference, I was willing to deal with it. However, you may want to keep that in mind if wi-fi access is very important to you. The hotel's common areas and our room were updated and very clean. Our room was well appointed and had a fridge AND microwave, and although the pillows were new and soft, the mattresses were VERY firm. I found the breakfast room to be one of the nicer ones I've seen. It was very large and could accommodate everyone easily, even the late crowd. There were two waffle irons, eggs sausages , a variety of breads, warm oatmeal not instant) Donuts, pastries, juices, milks and coffee. The attendant did a fantastic job keeping everything filled and cleaned! There were no long waits for any food items and the guests moved quickly thru the line as a result. I was very impressed. We did not use the indoor pool or hot tub and although the pool was rather small, it did look very clean. I will definitely visit the Mason Best Western again if I am in the area and I would recommend any friend or family member to visit as well! It was a very pleasant experience and very much appreciated!

We had a very nice stay. The room had a microwave, fridge, coffee pot, and two beds for a very reasonable price.

Good hotel for the price. Beds aren't the most confortable, but breakfast is pretty good and staff very friendly.

Clean room, affordable price

If you want to stay in a clean room at a affordable price this is the place to stay. I stayed here twice already. Second time I stayed here, I ran into small issues the second time. Side door card reader stopped working and had to go through the lobby area each time. I had teaching material I had to carry each time, so carrying it was not convenient. I advised front desk but it was not fixed during my stay. When I arrived there the second time, there were people smoking marijuana. Second day there was a shady man and woman outside the door who appeared to be under the influence of something. She had track marks on her arms. The next morning a pair of underwear was in the stairway. These are obviously things that are beyond the control of the staff, but I think it may attract a certain shady population of people because it is affordable. It took me a while to figure out that some of the door handles you have to pull up on it. Funny thing, the pot heads were the ones that figured it out and let me know. Front desk staff are really polite and respectful. They are engaging and make small talk.

We are so sorry you had issues with are side door and we contacted our maintenance department to fix the problem. We found out that the people were here and had them removed from the property.Please inform us if you have issues in the future. weekend family trip

Pros: located in the middle of lots of shopping. nice hot breakfast every morning. clean and well kept.
Location: shopping and restaurants nearby.
checked in late in the evening and the staff was extremely friendly. so much so that my six year old son even commented that the "people here are very nice to us".

Needs met.

Pros: Close to the tennis tournament. Good breakfast.
Cons: The only thing is that I think the rooms are a bit pricy because of the size. And the bathroom was very small.
Location: Kings Island, the tennis tournament.
Easy to find, staff was wonderful, quite at night. Room had a slight odor that I think was from the air conditioner. Was surprised the room was not bigger. But overall it was fine and would probably stay there again.
