It just needs a general refurbishment. Everything is pretty old and not that clean. Beds were comfortable and it was very convenient to Miami U.

Good place to sleep close to campus. Fitness Center has 2 cardio and a cable machine. Needs updating but again, if you're just sleeping it's solid. Quiet and ample parking. Just on edge of Oxford next to DQ.

There aren’t very many hotels in Oxford, so they don’t have to do a lot of work to get customers. The towel rack in the shower was defective. The hot water was lukewarm due to some problem.

Property is tired, lots of damage and unclean areas. Water heater was not working = cold showers. Pool also not in operating condition. Way overpriced.

This property was less than desirable. Hot water did not work. Our room was changed due to this issue and then there was on water pressure in that room. The pool was not open. There was actually black tarp coving all the windows covering the entire area. There were boxes in the hallways. A mattress was stored in the guest laundry on the second floor. The phones in the rooms did not work. Overall this was lesson learned to never stay at a comfort inn ever again.

This hotel is old and very run down. There was not hot water at all and the shower barely worked. Water stains on the ceiling and rust stains in the tub. When we arrived the tub was wet because the water kept dripping. Don’t even attempt to stay here!

Hotel pricing does not match condition of this hotel. Rooms are dated. Bathroom was dirty, sink did not drain, toilet was stained and disgusting, hot water in shower was luke warm at best. Breakfast is horrible, poor choice of food, stale donuts/bread and watered down coffee. Staff were very unfriendly.

Inexpensive hotel close to campus the pool was broken and the hotel was a little unkept, but our room was relatively clean. Being that this is one of the only hotels for Miami Of Ohio you think that they would step it up a notch.

This hotel was horribly maintained. I didn’t have hot water for the two nights we stayed and when I complained all I got was that maintenance was looking into it. A plunger was conveniently located in the bathroom due to the frequent toilet blockages. Breakfast consists of donuts from a gas station and cereal with no milk. Common areas were not well maintained. The pool was shutdown and had coliform bacteria all floating on top. For $140 a night we will go elsewhere.

This property is not what it shows online. When we arrived the staff was outside smoking while one of the employees child was behind the desk on the phone. We were then notified that there is no hot water, someone staying there let us know they hadn’t had hot water for 3 days prior. We did have hot water the remaining day we stayed. Breakfast was as limited as it comes and was jot at all appetizing. The pool appeared to have some sort of blooms on the water surface. The room was okay at best. The toilet was dirty along with the shower. The bathroom sink had very little water pressure to even make washing hands doable. I won’t be staying there and I will let others know to not stay there either.

This hotel is gross. Walk in lobby, smells like weed. Have to pay .25 for water in the lobby. Don’t think about taking a shower after a long day of travel because there isn’t any hot water. We were lucky day one we had a warm shower for 3 min. After that day, no warm water. The fitness center has broken equipment and has dried sweat all over. No cleaning wipes, water jug was empty! The fire alarms are disconnected and hanging from the ceiling. Floors and carpet, sticky. We touched it out but will not be back. Stay downtown at the Elms or Hampton inn. It’s worth the extra 100 per night. The only positive was the front desk girl was friendly. It also appears the entire staff lives or “hangs out” in room 104. It was all very bizarre.

I would not stay here.
The major problem with this property is management. I stayed for 10 nights and during that time there were 5 false fire alarms between 10:30 pm and 7:30 am. Not able to reach the desk to determine if alert was false. This required dressing and walking down a flight of stairs in 20 degree weather. Not good.

Our bed was comfortable. Our door was bent, so it barely latched. The fire alarm went off twice and we had to get up early and then we decided just to check out because of the issues with the fire alarm.

At $250 a night, my expectations were not met at this hotel. I have stayed at hotels for around $100 that were of the same cleanliness and quality of this one. Everything is dated, the carpets and floors are only moderately clean, and the bathroom was just old and grungy. Our sink drain would not drain so it was constantly filled with dirty water. The breakfast is very mediocre. In the end, it was safe, and we had a place to sleep, but the price is far too high.

This hotel was so gross we barely made it through the stay. Hair all over the bed, dirty old toilets and sinks, just not a good experience. The front desk staff was all extremely kind but the cleanliness was a huge issue.

Breakfast was open until 10. So at 9:30 there was no eggs and the eggs that were there looked like green pineapple. So we went to Bob Evans. Paid 350 was hoping to at least have free breakfast.
