Had Shuttle to Ballpark.

Posted Aug 29, 2015
Pros: Staff friendly and helpful. Could walk to get something to eat. Could catch shuttle right out front.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: Close to so many places to eat. Short ride to the ballpark via the shuttle.
We stayed there for three days so we could watch the Reds play. They were awful, but the hotel was great. Staff very friendly and helpful. Many places to eat around the hotel and there was a shuttle you could take to the ballpark. Will stay there again.

Nice hotel for downtown activities.

Great location to walk to Busch stadium and arch. Seating just outside room was ideal. Breakfast was excellent! Highly recommend!

Excellent stay. Helpful, friendly staff.

From the moment we checked in, this hotel exceeded our expectations. We requested a couple extra towels, and housekeeping provided them on the spot. When I asked the front desk about a certain restaurant in town, the employee redirected us to the same restaurant at a closer location which was incredibly helpful. Our children were thrilled with the pool, and we adults were happy it was clean and plenty of pool towels available. Finally, I must recognize Yasmine who runs the breakfast area in the morning. She is one of the most kind, efficient and positive people I have ever met working in a hotel. She is amazing: taking orders, heating sandwiches, making coffee, getting highchairs for families, wiping tables, etc. all while taking the time to talk genuinely with each person who orders food. The entire staff is wonderful, but Yasmine takes the cake. If we ever travel to Cincinnati again, we will certainly stay here.

Wonderful stay!!

We stayed 2 nights here, and actually hated to leave so soon. Staff was incredible, especially the lady working in the bistro. She made us feel like family. I think her name was Yasmine or something close to that. Rooms clean and comfortable. Outside area at back of hotel is also very nice. Will definitely stay here again if in the area!

Excellent hotel with excellent staff!!

My family and I could not have asked for more from a hotel! We had several last minute things needing done at 12:30 am, and they didn't complain one bit. In fact, they were cheerful about helping. They even upgraded our room for us so we would have more room to accommodate all 5 of us. We will definitely be back!!

Nice hotel

Pros: The lobby, eating area are very nice, though we didn't eat there. I liked the courtyard. It was unseasonably cool so we sat outside by the fireplace
Cons: It was a little pricy.
Staff nice. Very close to lots of attractions in the Cincinnati/Covington area.

Reds and Newport visit

Overpriced room. It was small and right beside a very active train track. It stated river view but you couldn't see the water through the train bridge and trees.

Just a 2-night stay

Posted Jun 2, 2015
Pros: Nice outdoor courtyard, free parking in a garage, close to transportation to Cincy, plenty of dining within walking distance; felt safe.
Cons: There a freight train tracks and tressle adjacent to the building, but not enough noise to bother us!
Location: Great pubs and restaurants within walking distance; football and baseball stadiums right over the bridges; zoo; riverfront
...but wished it was a longer leg on our trip! Front desk staff were amazingly helpful, and provided all sorts of helpful info. Would re-book in a heartbeat! plenty to do in Covington, with Cincinnati just over the bridge. Free parking, perfect spot!!

My husband and I needed a little getaway but close to home and the courtyard by Marriott was a perfect place to stay. Great area, great staff and a wonderful view from our room. I would definitely stay there again and recommend a friend.
