hotel from hell!

Posted Oct 23, 2016
After a courtsy call from me about my late check in, I arrive at midnight. After waiting 15 minutes while one person checked in a woman, three employees at the desk, my turn. The other employees leave. The one remaining tells me she can't check me in and calls for another staff. He comes to tell me the hotel was overbooked and I have to go to another hotel. They call a taxi for me while I watch them check in another late arrival. Taxi takes over 20 minutes to get there. Never received an explanation on while I was refused a room while two other late arrivals where checked in. I offered to pay more for a room and still refused. I had booked this through Expedia.

Like an overpriced Days Inn with room service

Posted Aug 5, 2016 on Hotels
Rebecca is worth her weight in gold!If not for this woman,we would NEVER stay at another Marriott. It is conveniently located. The hotel looks as though a portion was updated; lamps, chairs outside of elevators and new televisions. The carpeting, wallpaper, curtains, and furniture were outdated.Like a Days Inn or Super8.Food was good,Dessert was AMAZING!The room service people were awesome. No counter in bathroom, just a sink.Water pressure was perfect. On night #1,someone spilled coffee in lobby. It was still there when we checked out on day #3.The desk people were very nice, however, they messed up and charged me $1,600.00 extra. Another lady at the desk seemed unwilling to look into the matter, instead she kept repeating "daily authorization".We were prepaid through Hotels.com,so obviously someone screwed up. Not only this, but the same lady attempted to get my husband to pay an additional $400,and dared to charge us another $361.while we were complaining about the original $1,600!Out comes Rebecca to save the day.She personally called my bank, faxed paperwork, refunded all charges, including parking.I don't recommend spending more than $189/night at this hotel, at least until they renovate the rooms. The beds were great, very soft and comfortable,if a bit small. If you get a good price and don't need a pool, this hotel would work.

Good hotel forms business trip.

Posted May 12, 2016
I was at this hotel for business. Did a three day two night stay. For business trip purposes, it is a good hotel. The 3.5 rating is about right. Staff is very friendly and responsive. The room had not been cleaned very well before it was provided to me. However it was cleaned much better during my stay. The bed was comfortable. The shuttle service to and from the hospitals was very convenient. I would recommend this Hotel to fellow travelers and would stay there again if I have business in the area.
