Like an overpriced Days Inn with room service

Rebecca is worth her weight in gold!If not for this woman,we would NEVER stay at another Marriott. It is conveniently located. The hotel looks as though a portion was updated; lamps, chairs outside of elevators and new televisions. The carpeting, wallpaper, curtains, and furniture were outdated.Like a Days Inn or Super8.Food was good,Dessert was AMAZING!The room service people were awesome. No counter in bathroom, just a sink.Water pressure was perfect. On night #1,someone spilled coffee in lobby. It was still there when we checked out on day #3.The desk people were very nice, however, they messed up and charged me $1,600.00 extra. Another lady at the desk seemed unwilling to look into the matter, instead she kept repeating "daily authorization".We were prepaid through Hotels.com,so obviously someone screwed up. Not only this, but the same lady attempted to get my husband to pay an additional $400,and dared to charge us another $361.while we were complaining about the original $1,600!Out comes Rebecca to save the day.She personally called my bank, faxed paperwork, refunded all charges, including parking.I don't recommend spending more than $189/night at this hotel, at least until they renovate the rooms. The beds were great, very soft and comfortable,if a bit small. If you get a good price and don't need a pool, this hotel would work.
