Hotel nice. Hotel.com dropped the ball.

The hotel was nice. The staff was helpful when my reservation wasn't sent to them from hotel.com. What should have been a painless check in after running a 5k and spending the day at Cedar Point on a very hot day to a 3 1/2 to 4 hour drive to the hotel took over 30minutes thanks to hotel.com. I just wanted to get to my room and take a shower and lie down. We finally got it taken care of after calls to hotel.com. I was told by the lady that checked me out the next day that this happened to another person the same day while she was on duty. My card had originally charged more than the quote from hotel.com but the charge should be removed and the correct rate be charged per the staff. Hoping I won't be double charged until then. Bed was comfortable. The room was clean and very nice. Close to the pool. The room that housed the pool felt like a sauna when I first walked in but the water was cool. Loved the 11 am checkout. Was able to run my 5k that morning then come back and shower and eat breakfast. Nice basic selections. Waffles, biscuts and gravy, eggs and sausage and instant oatmeal for hot food. Danishes, bagels, hard boiled eggs, yogurt and cereal for cold food. Would stay again.
