    About this property

Spacious & Bright Home In Central Cincinnati

Historic home with modern appeal - clean and bright with the comforts and amenities of home. This 1880 home features historic charms such as original hardwood floors and 3 Rookwood fireplaces, with brand new furniture throughout (including the comfiest King bed ever). The location can't be beat - a quiet, tree-lined street in Central Cincinnati, minutes from Xavier, UC, Rookwood, Downtown Cincinnati, Children's Hospital, Cincinnati Zoo, and much more! Tons of windows and 11' ceilings make this 1400 sq ft dwelling feel bright and airy. Original woodwork and fireplaces add charm while modern amenities provide comfort. Fully stocked kitchen with en suite HE washer and dryer (detergent provided), and a dining room that seats 4. Bedroom features brand new king sized memory foam mattress with cozy linens and down comforter, large flatscreen with Firestick, a sound machine, and a full-sized closet (with iron/ironing board). Living room sofa folds into queen size bed, linens provided upon request. There is a desk/workspace and highspeed internet available for business travelers, and another TV in the living room with premium cable and a "little library" for downtime. Keyless entry for ease of use and flexible check-in times. Guests have access to front and backyard as well as spacious front porch with swing and comfortable seating. This listing is for the first floor of a 2-unit house (I live upstairs and am available as needed, if I'm in town - otherwise another host nearby will be available for emergencies). I have a friendly adopted stray cat (Ruth Vader Kittensburg) who lives outside (and has a heated cat house on the front porch). She is very sweet and loves to nuzzle.

    Spa Like Comforts

What a charming property! Megan has really made this place nice with extra touches like lush pillows, great towels, and nice soaps and lotions.

Comfortable, clean, cozy - perfect for a weekend visiting my son at Xavier

This lovely spacious apartment with updated amenities was perfect for a weekend in Cincinnati visiting my child at Xavier. It’s just 4 minutes from Xavier and didn’t require hopping on the interstate. The king bed and pillows are super comfortable. I appreciated the power strip by the night stand for my charger and a luggage rack in the closet. Very large TVs in the bedroom and front living room with Firestick in the bedroom. Bathroom has updated amenities, plush rug, great lighting and water pressure. Full kitchen, stacked washer and dryer (which I didn’t use). Convenient street parking - no worrying about parking or valet fees, a nice break from a hotel. I will definitely stay here again.

WOW~home-away-from-home! Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood this space has many perks! We enjoyed yoga in the mornings on the beautiful wood floor! We reveled in leisurely mornings & lazy evenings on the grand front porch, which is surrounded with beautiful flowering pots and accompanied by a friendly feline. We made a hearty meal in the kitchen! We used the laundry, b/c we could! We watched some sports in the living room and a drama in the most comfy bed! And for that late morning coffee, Brick Coffee Co. is a leisurely walk or short drive to Floral St.! The neighborhood is less than 5 min to the area grocer (Kroger) and less than 10 min to natural food stores (The Fresh Market-Madison & Wholefoods-Rookwood). An easy drive to downtown Cincinnati we spent Saturday morning at Findlay Public Market! So many new restaurants and bakeries downtown! As we drove around Vine & Mains streets wish we had more time to eat and more time to appreciate the architecture! Hyde Park is a great area and has a wonderful Sunday Farmer's Market! Also in Hyde Park we enjoyed our favorite Graeter's ice cream and a new (sushi & more) restaurant, e o KITCHEN! We enjoyed the split brunch menu: one sushi roll and one ham & cheese on brioche to die for! Not to mention the lovely MINDful specialty cocktail! As the reason for our visit to the Queen City was a wedding, this property was ideally located, central to hopping over to Covington, KY and an easy drive to Batavia, OH. I loved returning to our abode after a day of activity~auto lights on the porch welcoming us home. Our host took great care to provide many amenities to make our stay enjoyable~THANK YOU Megan!

Wonderful property in an excellent location. The neighborhood was lovely and the street was quiet. There were several shopping and food options within walking distance and many more, including downtown Cincinnati within 10-15 minutes. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again.

    A Most Pleasant Surprise!

We spent quite a bit of time looking at the wide variety of properties available in Cincinnati but were looking for something special for our first ever visit. After doing a little research we made our selection for this property and, pardon the capital letters, WHAT A GREAT CHOICE! We joked with the home owner that perhaps we wouldn't write a nice review simply so no one else would book it at the same time we would like it next time we go to Cincinnati. However, we do like to share success stories and this is one of those places that has it all. It truly is a spacious property with a wonderful front porch and even a resident cat that loves attention. This home has space, quality wifi, lots of cooking equipment, very comfortable living space, and is located close to all the shopping you'll need, and also has easy access to the highways. Parking was never an issue as it's located in a lovely quiet and historic neighbourhood. Look no further than this property. We had a fantastic time and can only hope it's available next time we visit Cincinnati.
