CVG

Posted Nov 18, 2017
Its a nice option 15 mins from CVG. Their shuttle doesnt run early so they call a taxi. This was the only issue we had. They forgot to order our taxi on time. Luckily we left some cushion to arrive.

Three Out Of Five Stars

Posted Nov 12, 2017
Pros: Front desk personnel very nice. Room condition very good. Attractive curb appeal.
Cons: Make access better from main highways. Need a GPS to find it.
Front desk people very nice. Ordered food; when downstairs to pick it up. Again, met with pleasant attitudes. Nice stay; slept well. Room very clean and welcoming. Morning breakfast woman was surly toward another guest at 7:30 AM, as we walked in. The food was picked through & not replenished; we went to Cracker Barrel. The access could be better from main highways. Needed a GPS to find it.

Decent place to stay but check bed sizes

Posted Nov 6, 2017
The hotel was in good condition and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was just OK. The pancakes and french toast sticks were terribly stale. My main complaint was the bed sizes. Our room was supposedly for 6 people but the double beds were pretty tight for 2 people unless you are small or like cuddling. Normally, we book a room for 6 (2 adults plus 4 kids age 6 thru 16) would have 2 queen beds and a pullout couch size queen. I can't remember the last time I saw a room with double beds.

I apologize that the size of the beds were not what you had expected and the breakfast fell short of your expectations. I will continue to monitor the freshness and discuss your comments with the cook. Hopefully we see you again in the future.

Too much light and noise

Posted Oct 30, 2017
My husband and I were extemely disappointed with our stay at the Hyatt Place. We were placed in a room on the first floor, next to the door for the pool. Therefore, there was a lot of traffic outside our door until 10pm and then in the morning, which was manageable but not ideal at all. The worst part of our stay was that there was a HUGE floodlight or landscape light outside our window, shining right in at us. We thought this would be covered by the blackout curtains, but this was not the case once we went to sleep. It was as if the moon was shining directly on my eyes and the blackout curtains did not help. I'm not sure why they have the light shining through a guest's window. It was so bad, my husband had to sleep on the couch far away from the window by the bed. We would have asked for a second room, but it was already late and we were in our pjs. To pack up and move would have been an even greater hassle. If the Hotel could not have bright lights pointing in the room or thicker curtains, this would have been a pleasant experience.

Dear Holly, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of. The issue with the light has been corrected and must have been inadvertently moved. Sincerely, Scott Muck General Manager

Very nice except that our sick was clogged the entire time we were there. They tried to fix it but it needed a plumber. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

Loved the layout and room size, but the bed is a very FIRM bed and we had a terrible time trying to get some sleep. Hotel is quite and peaceful but not being able to sleep and then the body hurts from the hard bed is not worth it. Really do like the hotel other than the very firm mattress. L Robinson

Nice Hotel, but a little hard to find

Posted Oct 15, 2017
Pros: Very Clean and Comfortable.
Cons: See Above.
Location: Hard to find without a GPS. Convenient for our visit to Arc Encounter.
Don't know why breakfast coffee wasn't with the rest of the breakfast food. Don't know why there was no sink in the bathroom. Never saw that before. Many hotels have complimentary cookies, $4 each is outrageous! Other than that it was a very clean, comfortable, quiet place to stay with courteous staff.
