Wonderful location

Posted Oct 10, 2017
Pros: Location and a sense of a special hotel feels lovely to be in such a beautiful hotel.
Location: Great location walking distance to board our cruise, walking distance to - rail travel and also the Opera House and Botanical Gardens.
My family of 4 loved this stay so close to the rail network, and next day walking distance to board our cruise. The swimming pool has an amazing view over the harbor and at night seeing the lights over the busy quay and rail station was exciting.

Great location, good quality hotel

Posted Oct 6, 2017
Pros: Location - in middle of circular quay with ferries and Opera House on doorstep. Big rooms, can fit a family. Spa & pool with view
Cons: Not much. Gym could be bigger with newer equipment. Minibar options/ prices absurd (but not surprising)
Location: The entire Sydney city tourism experience is within a short walk or ferry ride.
The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Circular Quay, looking out to the Bridge on one side and botanic park on the other, and literally a minute or two walk to the ferries and the Opera House. Our "double bed" room was happily true to the photos - it's actually a one bedroom apartment with kitchenette, we had two kids on the sofa bed in the lounge and still had some room to move, much better than a standard hotel suite but without full apartment pricing. While it's showing a few signs of age, the hotel is still well fitted out and maintained and the staff are friendly and helpful. It has a pool and spa looking out to circular quay, and a small but functional gym. Would stay again as base for a Sydney holiday.

Great View!

Posted Aug 18, 2017
Pros: In positioning terms, not to be beaten (which is why we were there); sunset over the appraoch road to Sydney Harbour Bridge gives some good photos.
Cons: The room was tired; furniture was badly beaten up at vacuum cleaner level and the sofa bed, ideal for watching the harbour, was shockingly tired.
Location: All of Sydney's delights are at your fingertips, the Quay sends boats all over Sydney...and Circular Quay Station will get you to where a boat can't.
This was a junior suite with balcony opening out over the embarkment end of Circular Quay's ferry port. The stay was a celebration, just the two nights. The room was equipped for a much lengthier stay, with washer/dryer, a well-equipped kitchen and a great selection of (100-200% mark-up) drinks in fridge and on shelf. A TV in the bedroom and in the living room had the usual terrestrial channels and a smattering of cable ones...movies could be hired at $16.95 a pop(although the Wifi was free). The balcony sat 2 people; 2 chairs, one table. Whirlpool bath was a tight fit for two The hotel is tired and need of an upgrade, the staff a bit wayward (a vacuum cleaner and a pile of room service plates spent half a day in the hallway), although Accor-friendly, and if you're a light sleeper, the trains through Circular Quay station 100m away, with their hooting passage, will drive you nuts.

You can't beat the location. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a garden view room and could see a portion of the Opera House. It's very enjoyable to walk in the gardens. We were there in June and had great weather only a light jacket needed in morning and at night.

Stayed here for Vivid Sydney, and it was absolutely a perfect location. Right on the harbour, and right in front of all the lights on Sydney Harbour Bridge - AMAZING!!!!

Fantastic location. Ideal for VIVID. Lovely comfortable room. Just would have liked the spa pool to be a few degrees warmer.
