You could not find a better location than the Russell Hotel. There are great pubs and restaurants on the ground floor of the hotel as well as next door. Walk two blocks and you see the opera house and the famous bridge. The hotel was older and did not have the most convenient bath and to get to your ...
The perfect spot for a visit to Sydney. Walking distance to everything. Situated in the historic Rocks district, near Circular Quay, it is convenient to the harbor, the bridge and the Opera House. During our two days we did not use any form of transportation other than walking...except to take a ...
Yes the hotel is old and worn but what a fabulous staff and unique experience. If I’d stayed at the Marriott etc it could not be a memorable experience like being in the middle of the Rocks and having such a loving staff and stories to tell like this Australian heritage. I highly recommend it.
This was for part of a 50th birthday present along with seeing the fireworks the Amora was the best hotel we have ever stayed in the room and staff were excellent. Thankyou.
Good customer service, great location, although the room itself was clean, you could see some dirtiness and some walls with bad painting. It's a good hotel overall if you compare price - experience.
The room TV was a bit difficult to control. All other things were as expected. I felt that the spa massage was ok. For the same price I paid, I know I could get better therapist but the staff were very nice.
We LOVED staying at the Langham. The door staff, especially Hugo, were super friendly and helpful, from carrying our bags, opening the door, and answering all our questions. We initially felt a little out of place with our backpacks and casual shorts and t-shirts, but nobody batted an eyelid; a 5-star ...
Excellent location. Room was spacious and facilities were great. Really clean. Staff very helpful. Our room had city views, would have liked more harbour views. This was not a surprise as the price of the room was reasonable, but meant the view was compromised. The hotel entrance is very dated, but ...
Hotel staff (Jonny) really helped us out with a spare suitcase 5 minutes before we were leaving. Ours has broken and he was so helpful- we were so grateful and relieved the hotel had spare suitcases for such an emergency. Thank you! Lovely lovely hotel. Great location.
Fantastic position near the Opera House and Botanic Gardens. Good, quiet, well appointed hotel. Perhaps a little 'tired' in some respects. Otherwise I would say it is pretty good really.
Every thing you need in a holiday at Sydney,10 min from opera house ,20 min from harbour bridge, 5 min from tropical garden ,numerous bars & restaurants all of very good standards,, the
Chose this hotel due to location and were not disappointed. Right on the harbor. Easy access to all activities including ferries.
Brilliant rooftop views of the harbour, the opera house and the bridge. Sitting in the twilight watching the sun sink, with the bats flying above from the Botanical Gardens. Was a truly brilliant night.,
Stayed in a room on the 7th floor overlooking the Botanic Gardens. Room itself was a fantastic size but had a very unpleasant damp smell. Didn’t use any of the kitchen facilities but it all looked to be reasonably well stocked. Bed was comfortable but our sleep was disrupted by the air conditioning ...
