Good 2 star hotelPosted May 29, 2016 on Wotif
You have to remember this is a 2 star hotel. We stayed for 2 nights and had a pretty good time. The hotel is off Cavour Street and a very short walk to The Arena and its surrounding restaurants, cafes, shops etc. As well as waking distance to Piazza Erbe. The 'main lady' who works at the reception was out for coffee but we spoke on the phone and we were given our key. She was the only staff member with good English. We were on the second floor and a staff member helped carry our bags up as there is no lift. The room was very clean and large enough for the 2 of us. The bathroom was a bit tiny but clean. It was quite loud on our first night from within the hotel itself. I didn't hear anything on the second night. I do think it was a little expensive for a 2 star, however hard to beat the location exorbitant if you're visiting the Arena for something.

Clean, simple, well located near the Arena, with a very nice staff, excellent for the price, perfect for when you're mostly out exploring Verona. Even nicer in warm weather, I'm sure, as they have a courtyard area.

Right in the heart of Verona's old cityPosted Nov 9, 2015
Pros: Location is the prime thing for us.
Cons: I couldn't move the shower head down the stem.
Location: The local buildings and small streets, courtyards and alleyways gave us pleasure. There are shops, cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes & pockets
It's in a great location, with friendly reception and reasonable beds. The cold marble floor was chilly on the feet now the weather is cooler. We had all our meals outside of the hotel as there are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby.

Good location ... condition could be betterPosted Sep 30, 2015 on Hotels
Quick couple getaway. Great, convenient location to the town centre and major attractions. Room / furnishings were somewhat old and not as attractive. Staff was helpful.

Nice room, great locationPosted Sep 28, 2015
Pros: Location, location, location! Very friendly staff!
Cons: Wi-Fi could be improved.
Location: You will have everything around the hotel. All major attractions are within a few minutes walk. Restaurants and shops are everywhere in the area.
Ms. Patrizia was a great host, very accomodating. The hotel is in an amazing location. The room is spacious, shower was excellent with great pressure. No view. Wi-Fi did not picked up in our room.

A good value hotel in the right neighborhood of Verona. It is simple, but gets the job done. All of the staff were superbly nice and accommodated.

Nice hotel close to the arenaPosted Sep 7, 2015
Pros: Central location, friendly staff, AC and cheap for Verona!
Cons: Lack of a TV in the room and the wifi doesn't reach the rooms on the 2nd floor very well!! Bathroom is very clean but a bit small.
Location: Easy to walk all around Verona and very close to bars and restaurants and the arena.
Nice, friendly, very centrally located hotel. It's ideal for bars and restaurants in the main piazza outside the Arena.

Great location.Posted Aug 26, 2015
Pros: Great location near the Arena and central part of town.
Cons: Toilet was practically in the shower, which was awkward after having showered.
Location: Arena, Casa di Giulietta just a short walk away. Great restaurants just around the corner.
We were able to check in early, which was very convenient.

Perfect for a night at the operaPosted Aug 9, 2015
Pros: The staff were really nice
Cons: Toilet was squashed up against the shower cubicle.
Location: Very close to the opera
A no nonsense place ideal for an overnight stay to take in the opera. The staff were really friendly, polite and helpful. Room was basic but comfortable and clean. Minutes from the arena but tucked away in a quiet side street.
