Solo trip
I initially had some issues with the property after some misunderstanding. The complaint was brought up to the owner who was a gentleman and could not have been more helpful. Other than that the property is very close to the metro, conveniently located, and an amazing prize for the location. Would repeat when I return to Milan.

This should be a one-star hotel. It is actually a small, old house with rooms transformed for guests. It is very basic and outdated with some appliances such as the hair dryer being broken, no shampoo in the bathroom - just soap. I stayed in December and the room was pretty cold with no clear way to make it warmer. Somehow close to the main train station which is the reason I booked it initially.

the hotel classification in Italy has been mandatory since 1925 and is obtained on the basis of the requirements possessed and not on the age or size of the house, which in our case is in Art Nouveau architecture (early twentieth century) and is highly appreciated by our loyal customers.It's the truth, we found that the wall-mounted hair dryer had broken but if you had communicated with the front desk (available 24 hours a day) you could have taken advantage of a working spare hair dryer. The same goes for the shampoo that is of course supplied to the rooms.About the temperature inside our Home, we have a central heating program (13 hours a day by law between 5 am and 11 pm, maximum 21 degrees) But all our rooms are also equipped with an "inverter" machine that it would have been sufficient to turn on with the remote control, to have the desired temperature. We have verified that it works perfectly in your room.We are very sorry to have received a very bad grade that we do not believe we deserve but that we accept, in spite of ourselves. Like, I believe, every Italian hotel, 4 euro per person per night in cash is required. But it is still less than one in Florence where 5.5 euro. They call it tax, but from Expedia email, this money has been in the hotel book. Not a decent thing by people of descendants of glorious Rome time. A sort of mean, I have to say. Apart from this, things are fine. People are decent. The most impotent to me, it is quiet.

I stayed only for 2 nights in a suite room and it was more than enough for my needs in terms of space. The hotel is clean and the receptionist was very kind. The hotel is small and well located close to Piazzale Loreto where there's a metro station and some bus lines. I was satisfied with the service.

Very pleasant quiet square but near local metro stop. We had to ask for the air conditioning and staff on duty were reluctant to let us use it. The woman was rather rude and made us feel like we were being unreasonable to ask for it, even though the description clearly stated air conditioning!!

I travel to Milan alot due to my support of Il Calcio Italiano. On arrival, I was greated with friendly staff and the single room I booked was nice. I got a new european travel adapter which somehow didn't fit the Italian sockets correctly so I went down to the reception desk and I was given a lend of a samsung plug for my stay. Breakfast was included and typical Italian, Continental which was tasty and set you up for the day. Free coffee which is always great too. Location is 5 mins walk from Loreto on M1 and M2 and close to Corso Buenos Aires for shopping etc. I could not fault the staff or the facilities. This Hotel will definitely be on my list of Hotels to stay while in Milan.

Wonderful staff, eager to help with any issue. Hotel is just two blocks from the metro. A bus stops on the corner. There is a park across the street. Breakfast is okay as long as you do not want a hot breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage or hash browns. The shower stall is too tiny, and there is no elevator. Otherwise, the room was comfortably air conditioned and bed was comfortable to sleep on.

Basic but good location and price
Quite a basic hotel but was good for the price and the location. Good for a few nights if you are more about good value than amazing rooms. Clean, tidy, good breakfast and air con. Metro station 5 minute walk, which was only 10 minutes ride to Duomo (main tourist hotspot).

The owner or the manager of the hotel was super friendly. Stayed for 5 Nights felt like home. They are always someone who will help you with the luggage, they even helped me with my shopping bags.

The location is excellent--right next to the metro. The neighborhood has a park, which closes so the area is quite quiet at night. The minute you walk in, and in the hallways, it smells like cigarettes. When I asked for extra towels they responded with why? I normally never have my room cleaned until the end; I see no need, I'm a clean person on a short trip & after staying in communal places I love privacy. It was a big deal to them & basically I was told after the third day I had to have my room changed & cleaned. So I relented, but came back to find my door had been left open for I don't know how long. When I told the staff she thanked me for telling her & told me the cleaning lady was very stupid--this reaction & statement are completely unprofessional. The room itself was basic, but enough for one person. The heat worked insanely well, which was a true gift and joy in the winter. Nothing is terribly outdated--my toilet did not have a proper flush mechanism, only the button sticking out of the wall, and the seat kept moving, so there are some maintenance issues but nothing dire. The Wifi worked very well the first two days but then slowed--not sure why. For the cost, location, and value it was good. However, the customer service is not great and quite frankly we are both very lucky that nothing was stolen. I also wonder about their need to question any requests and their insistence on being in your room.

The Hotel location is great - 5 minute to metro. Staff is very friendly and always tries to help you. It would be great if they update the showers. At least in my room, the shower was falling down as soon as I turn water on because the handle was so old and completely weared out.

Lovely hotel.
We turned up at the hotel late, 00:15, it was no problem 24hr reception, staff really helpful, friendly and booked us in quickly. The bed was comfy, everything clean and although it's not the most modern hotel we had everything we needed. A spacious room, reasonably priced mini bar and a balcony. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the trains and trams and 2 stops from milan central.
