Great Base for visiting Verona
The hotel is ideally situated near the Arena square, with local shops, supermarket and restaurants. A 20 minute walk to the train station, for those wanting to take a train to Venice. Friendly service, good breakfast. We would give a 3 star plus rating.

Hotel very good location for exploring Verona, downside was our room the bathroom toilet is extremely close too shower making it very hard too use the toilet comfortably. Other people in our group didn't have same issue, but our room the toilet should go where the bidet is.

Two buildings?
Hotel in two buildings 200m apart down the street. Second building just has rooms. Ok for one night but rooms not like the photos. Clean. Close to arena.

Lovely property and host. Great location, within walkable distance to the city centre and with bus stations available pretty much on the front step. Very clean, and the host was very friendly and helpful, even helping us book a taxi in the morning to catch our very early flights! Will definitely come again.

Lovely hotel in the very heart of verona, 5 minute walk to the main square with the ampitheatre. Breakfast nicee and fresh with a decent choice of foods, staff were attentive and friendly. Really enjoyed this hotel, thanks for having us

Book this room for breakfast but not to stay.
Staff was nice and friendly. Breakfast was good. Hairdryer didn’t work. Aircondition was just a fan blowing wind around but not adding cool air. This is required when you get a room under the roof. It was hot. Ok for us adults but not okay for a little baby and a dog. Dog didn’t cost extra which was good and Baby also. But it was very hot in the room. The shower didn’t work quite well. Water stayed in it for too long before it was drained so we had to have a break between taking showers. The shower head was mounted incorrectly so it would fall down all the time. The toiled was in a little corner in the bathroom and it was not very comfortable. For a 10 year old child no problem but adult size people would have issues with their legs and knees on that toilet.

I was nearly blamed for showing up at 8:45pm, which is when the hotel apparently close the check-in. Let me remind all, it is a 3-starred hotel in central Verona. Nevertheless the receptionist could have at least prepared the key since I was the last arriving customer and she was in an extreem rush. So once done with the admin, she took me to a nearby building (100m away) displaying the same name as the main one and ran away. Room cozy, small and pretty. Shower very clogged and completely empty soap. Good quality breakfast, great croissants. Not happy! Will look for other options in Verona…

A horrible end to a nice stay
The hotel was nice although the bed was not super comfortable. On hotel it was written that the City tax was 2 euros for people between 15-25 and for over 25 was 2.50. Given that me and my partner are both under 25 I pointed this out to the receptionist and she raised her voice telling me that I would have to pay 5 euros for the both of us. I then politely showed her the passage on the website where it was explained and she kept insisting the website was wrong.

Good location, 2 min walk from piazza bra. Room was disappointing, not necessarily as was shown in photos. INCREDIBLY NOISY! Could hear people talking outside our door late at night and in the morning, was very disruptive.

Fantastic location within walking distance to city centre and tourist attractions also only a 15 minute walk to the main train station from where you can get trains to Venice etc. for a day trip. We used the jacuzzi and sauna room too and it was so relaxing with nice Aromatherapy smells and relaxing music. I would highly recommend this hotel and will be back to stay there in the future.

I would absolutely stay here again! The location was perfect. Very close to everything you could want to see however situated on a quiet street so you could sleep at night! The staff were welcoming and very helpful and the included breakfast was a bonus. The wifi was also very reliable which is not always my experience when travelling so for a business trip that was very convenient. 10/10.

We were in Italy celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. Verona was a stunning destination. Close to Lake Garda, Venice etc by train. The Marco Polo was situated close to the centre of Verona. A great base to out time in Verona.

I did not like that I paid nearly £200 for a room that the safe did not work, the toilet seat had a large chip out of it, the electric sockets didn’t hold the adapter properly and the mirror in the bathroom had seen better days. Breakfast was appalling and I felt sorry for the guy who was trying but they had run out of everything in a tired looking basement. Overall very disappointing and it was the only hotel out of six we stayed at didn’t do anything special for our anniversary. I wouldn’t stay here again and not would I recommend it to anyone else
